This is what will happen to me, I just know it. MY WORST NIGHTMARE!

"Hmm I think I'll put down Operations down as my first option... or Merch? :-\ Nah i'll put Operations, I might get to work on Tower of Terror or Space Mountain!!"

    -at the interview-

"So your first choice is Operations I see... well we have spaces there so we can just pop you in that!" :)
"Umm... not park greeter or parking though, I preferably want attractions or i'll do something else." :-\
"No it's fine we can put you in attractions." :)
"Brilliant, thanks!" -Space mountain here I come!!- :D

    -first day of work-

"Ahh hi there, you must be Rosie!" :)
    "Yes hi!" :D
"So, are you looking forward to working on this exciting, crazy, wild, adventurous ride? Are you sure you can handle it?" ;)
"God yes, I can handle any ride" 8)
"That's good then, because this one certainly does blow-your-head-off, hahahah!" ;)
"Wow, will I be working on Haunted Mansion then? Or is it Tower of Terror?" :D
"Ahahahahah, you must be kidding love." :-X
    "What do you mean?" :(
    "You'll be working for 12 months on It's A Small World!" ;D

Yeah, I would kill myself I think.
But the bonus is that you can't really hear the music as much outside the ride.
    AS MUCH

    It happens.

I desperately wanted to work at MK. I ended up working at Innoventions at Epcot. I was not impressed. But, when I got down to the actual business of working and met everyone and settled in, I ended up loving it.

Don't discount somewhere until you've tried it-those Small World CMs also get to work Peter Pan, Philharmagic, Dumbo and the Carousel, I think. You might find you actually quite like small world!

Oh, and Space Mountain is going down for an 18 month rehab in January 09, apparently... So for those of you who were hoping for Spaceyness in 2009, might want to rethink ;)

Oh, and I should also point out that pretty much anywhere you work at WDW, there's some form of music playing on repeat. So even if you're not Small World-ing it up, you might still go a bit mad ;)

Oh yes! In the norwegian restaurant they play princess music all day! It drove me crazy at times when I was there, but now I really miss it ;) But you'll get so used to the music, so you don't even notice it most of the time!

The best place to work (for listening to area loops) would have to be the animation courtyard in the studios! Absolutly love that one ::) :p ;D :D

I sometimes worked in animation courtyard. What is the background music for that area?

I actually found a CD celebrating 50 years of Disney magic, and it had all the theme songs from everyone's favourite rides. my favourites were Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and of course, the Carousel of Progress....Because there IS a great big beautiful tomorrow :)
P.S. It's a Small World was also on the CD....But you can always skip it :) tee hee hee :p

I'm sorry but who actually wants to have It's a Small World, on their CD, so they can listen to it at home?

    ...

    No one! ;)

  15. erm ... oops I have quite a few cd's with different versions of its a small world and its a big beautiful day tomorrow. I like them brings back memories and i never skip as well its kinda catchy and i like zazu singing it in lion king :p

Lol! I wouldn't mind listening to Zazu singing it, that could be quite funny, but the actual track that they actually play over and over in the ride I think would drive anyone insane...

I have that cd too!! I love grim grinning ghosts...

I'm hoping that as a character (since we move around various parks and locations, from what I understand) I won't really be anywhere long enough to get sick of the music.

Lol, I think I'm in the minority when I tell people how much I love the small world music. I wouldn't mind at all working there. I love the Tree of Life area loop, and all of the Epcot ones.
A great place to hear all the loops is live365.com and search for Sorcerer Radio :)

I definitely have to check that link... But luckily I have some of that music on my computer ;) By the way, does anyone here have the spectromagic music?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it :D But boy it makes me miss Disney even more when I'm listening to it! What a fantastic parade!!

I love the Jungle Dock music....we'd spend forever singing along to it and cracking all the jokes. It's so much better than the DLR version. Their's isn't as funny! The only problem was, you do a couple of trips on a boat, and then hear the same dock music you heard before you got on a boat! You'd end up hearing the same thing all day long!

I love the Disney Dreams Come True music..... Having to hear that so many times at PAC just made me so happy!

The one thing I don't like is the Cindereallabration music. I had to hear that 6 times a day for 3 months.... argh!
