Hi!

I'm going for food & beverages on July 5th. Right now I'm serving in the Norwegian royal guard. Looks like I'm having another year where I'm not allowed to grow any facial hair

Luckily I had 16 days of where I grew this baby

In my spare time I try to work out a bit, read some books (mostly sci-fi), play games and do everything else healthy young men my age do.

The Norwegian military is one of the places Disney focuses its recruitment, many of the Norwegian cast members in Orlando have come straight from that. (As it is mandatory to "serve the country" if you're a male Norwegian)

As for me, my name is Kristin, I'm 22 and I come from Bærum in Norway, situated west of Oslo, but it's technically Oslo cuz I'm like 200 metres from the Oslo border.
I'm going for the second time to Orlando to work F&B, I did merch and attractions last time, which was July 02 - 03.
So if you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Oh... going on June 14th btw!

 

wow thats kinda scary that its mandatory! i dont think i'd like to be a norweigan male! but then at the same time its a cool thing to do for your country! think id just like the choice

...but hey, im neither norweigen(wll aparently very disntantly i am but...) or male, so no need to worry!

Hey my name is Derek and I am from New Brunswick in Canada. I am 22 and just finished university and will be starting Sept.20th in F&B. My favourite hobby is travelling and I love Florida so I plan to see all of the sights that one doesn't usually get to in a one or two week vacation. I would also like to learn to surf while I am there and I hope to take in lots of events - sporting events, concerts - whatever... (oh and autoracing - I love watching nascar races) And if there is time I'd like to do a Disney Cruise. Looks like a busy year I guess!

 

The recruting agency (International Services) arranged a special information meeting about working in WDW at our base and the offer seemed great so many of us showed up for the interview.. Thats why!

Hey Everyone!

Another Cdn here. A little older at 27 and I'll be arriving on June 21st to work in f&b.

4 weeks today!!!! Although my countdown ticker went from weeks to days... it was a little scary.
