It was kindda lucky that I got it then and not much later otherwise I would be there and have no idea what was going on and have to drive back and forth 4 hours twice. I feel bad for the people that are comming in from out of town that left already, I hope you guys can all make it work . ??? Leigh
Re: Last minute date change for Toronto intervew Hiya Leigh, Did they tell you why they had to cancel tomorrow? I wonder if they cancel the Halifax interview today was canceled too. Montreal suppose to be on Thursday as well. I know what you mean about people travveling to Toronto, there are people coming from all over the place and even coming from west too. I hope they can still come to the interview. And I hope everyone knows the interview tomorrow is cancel. For me, it really sucks because I would have to give up my Friday shft and I can't really switch with anyone so I'll lose 6 hours of work. If it was pushed to next week, then it would of been cool because I would of been able to schedule around it. Gary

Hey guys.... Just thought I'd let you know that the Halifax interviews went as scheduled. It was really foggy and raining hard last night though, so I'm guessing that flights might have been cancelled and they were not able to make it to Toronto.... But then again, I'm just assuming....
Hey guys, They did tell us why they moved the interviews, they got stcuk in Halafax! Their plane couldn't get out. I am thinking that the Montreal interviews are going to go a schedualed otherwise you guys would have gotten a call as well. They moved our interview to Friday so I assume that they did that so that they could make the ones on Thursday on time. At least that's what I am guessing... Leigh
Hey Guys!!! Well I got a call yesterday about an hour after I got in Toronto that the interviews were cancelled. I flew from Calgary. But I am safe because I am not leaving till Sat because I have a friend that lives here so I am staying with her. I would have been so upset if they were this week, but it is all good. The lady that called me said they couldnt get out of Halifax and I guess Eric was freaking out because of the people coming from out of town and stuff. Well i will see you all Friday, good luck!!! hey all! , im in montreal and my brother has a compter so i will be able to see last update till the end lol! actually there was a big storm in quebec in montreal the weather is fini but the more you go east the worst it is ... i hope they will be able to come tomorrow... Kinda sucky. If I had been going to interview today, I would've been so disappointed. Actually, I am a little disappointed. I scheduled the day off work so I could go with my alumni friend to the interviews. Neither of us can get Friday off with this short notice, so we won't be there. Enjoy the interviews and Good Luck!! Well, I'm assuming Montreal going as plan tomorrow and hopefully Toronto will stay the same on Friday. I offically told my boss I wouldn't be able to go tomorrow (Friday) and he wasn't too happy about it. He doesn't even know that I'm going to this interview. I had to made up something important to get around it. lol Anyways, it's really bad timing that they had to change this because I'm working today in two places and I won't be home until late then I have to be up the next morning for the interview. Which means, as soon as I get home today, I go straight to sleep. lol Good luck everyone at the interview! Tazzy - Don't worry about being tired! Honestly, I had went on soooo little sleep the nights prior and was absolutely wired for the interviews. Julie: Nice to meet you Jennifer, how are you? Jen: SO EXCITED!!!!! Julie: Okay... Jen: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stuff you are going to learn tomorrow that I am going to jump the gun and spoil you on: (so advert your eyes if you wish!) There are two positions for the end of March. They are hiring almost 40 in total (I asked and it was either 36 or 38) I think there were about 25 people at the Hali interviews and she mentioned interviewing over 100 people. You are competing with everyone from the three interview locations, it's not like they have x number of positions for the Halifax ppl, y for the Montreal folk, etc. Anyway, the whole thing was an absolute blast and if you realllllly want to do the program you probably won't have much trouble sitting and smiling like a maniac during the presentation and interview. Gary, I think that I may have you beat on that tierd thing tomorrow. I am still in school so I have classes and a couple of mid-terms today. My last class ends at 10pm, then I am driving the 4 hours to Toronto. So I will get into the city at about 2 am, and I am sleeping at my best friends house that I haven't seen in about 2 months.....it's gonna be a long night. But hey it's all about fun, one day ain't gonna kill me. Leigh

I met her last October in Vancouver when I flew out there for the west coast interview. She's probably going to be like, oh you agian. Hey Gary, The other interviewer was Stephanie... I wrote down in my notes (I'm a nerd) that she was a communications manager although I'm not sure if that's right... Julie gave the entire presentation and Stephanie stood off to the side. The first person to be interviewed, Derek, also a member of the boards, was interviewed by booth ladies, somewhat as a warm-up so Stephanie could feel more comfortable, I believe he said.
