An ethernet cable is all you need.

Bringing a wireless router makes life easier though!

I think this is the 4th thread on laptops and computers?
There's cables in the rooms. If you have a mac with wireless and an airport, those will work too.

Anyway, Im off to the airport now to spend the weekend with my boyfriend! WOOO!!! :-*

I also got a new laptop the other day. I am planning on getting a wireless router when I arrive (hopefully splitting the cost with other people in my apartment). ;D

My laptop is insured under the uni insurance i got for my placement.

I already had my ethernet cable because I needed one last year at uni.

Make sure you get a long one, then you can have ur laptop in ur room rather than on the desk in the living room like me

A good alternative but a little more expensive is the wireless "airport' from Apple Computers it also works on PC's or laptops, all that is needed is the "airport" and a wireless network card in the computer.

Like all mac things, It is very very easy to use. No Gatespeak required. Pc's and Mac's can use it at the same time, and it LOOKS nice as well, is very small and compact easy to transport.

Hey guys, its me again. No, I havent dropped off the face of the planet, lol, Im in Toronto with my boyfriend.
Anyway, I Brought my airport to Toronto with me but am not using it because aparently this college thingy has wireless, it just doesnt like my mac.

Anyway, the airport is amazing to use and works on PC and Macs and I think that they're actually cheaper than a router and, not to mention, stylish!
I highly reccomend them to anyone!
Well, its late here and I should get some sleep.
    Night y'all!

I bought a wireless router on boxing day for like 10 dollars. Normally they cost from 60-100 though.

Internet access is included in your rent so you don't need to worry about paying for it.

    here's a thing...

Why do people who live in the commons have washers and dryers in the apartment?

But those who live in Vista have to use communal ones and pay?

The boys next door are lazy and use the dishwasher to wash their clothes.... hehehe ;D
