Hey!! Im starting this coming tuesday in attractions at the Canadian Pavilion and curious as to who is in charge of Kidcot? Also, any other Attractions position info would be much appreciated. (i have searched passed posts on this topic but I'm not sure if is all outdated by now- and things have changed). Thanks!!
Well, Kidcot in Canada changed hands a couple of times over the years. It was merch, then attractions for a long time, then last year back to merch for a bit and as far as I know it is back to attractions again. Merch and attractions people generally stick together, since we barely get to see any restaurant people during the days. My brother and people who quickly became my best friends were in merch... What did you wanna know? Basically you take care of the movie... you do 3 spiels for each showing (pre-show, open and close) and start/stop it. Tell people not to sit on the leaning rails or the floor... make magic, etc. Oh, also, the person who closes the night is on Illuminations duty. Basically you yell at people to not sit on the wall during the show lol Borrow some glow from the merch cart and be a little show yourself!
