And you would never believe you would be reading this, just 48 hours before your interview, and 24 hours before you leave for London. Unimaginable wasnt it..........i still cant get over it. WE DID IT! J xx
- Oh my word! I'm soooo with you on that one James... - What a thought, the memories of sealing the envelope and sending it off (with a ceremonial wish before you drop it in the mail - Ok, first time round I hand delivered it to Jason! -Â It's somewhere on the Archive boards) - Getting the email from Alexis for a telehone appointment... - That moment when your phone rings with Yummy jobs Calling on the display... eeek! - Right through to as James says, the feeling of finally packing your bag to travel to the interview then making the journey. - Believe me when I say... It's as if the pixie dust has been with you all the way, that magical feeling of it all... It is a feeling that will stay with you & I for the rest of our lives. - We are all apart of an elite club out of 20,000 & more... We should be proud no matter what! - (I don't know about you but all through typing & reading this email I had tingling down my neck & I had goose-bumps!) - As magical as visiting WDW for the first, second, third infact everytime! - You cannot buy this feeling or experience from anywhere in the world, only Disney can do this. - If I'm as lucky as those already out there... I would like to give everyone who I meet there the opportunity to feel 'that magic' we speak of. - There is absolutely NO DOUBT about it... WDW and all of Disney is my Utopia. - God bless you Walt Disney!
Actually, it was weird, the night before, I had major cold feet. Didn't want to go, felt like it was a bad idea etc. (knew I'd go, just didn't want to). The day of the interview, woke up and all nervousness and doubt was gone. It just felt right. It's an amazing feeling that I'm sure you'll all have had a taste of. It's true. There was definately a feeling that Tink was just above me sprinkling me the whole way there and back. A magical day... And definately. Even applying to WDW puts you in a league of people who are very special-how many people can say they've applied to work at Walt Disney World? And for those who get phone interviews, face to face interviews and positions, you lot are even more incredible and even more unique. It's a special thing that's happening here. I for one am mighty proud to be a part of it. KC
I remember the day as if it were yesterday......It was a dark morning, there was no one to be heard, not even a mouse.....Oh, wait a minute wrong story, lol..... I remember the day I emailed Alexis, I just came back from Canada and thought that I had nothing to lose by applying, I seriously never expected to get a telephone interview, bigger shock that I passed....I mean, the odds were stacked against my favour....I tell you what, the travel up to the interview really done it for me, as i was going to meet a bunch full of "candidates" for one of the most amasing and biggest productions on the planet!!!! I still remember her telling me that its like being on stage.........Anyway, getting back to the original question...I was totally nervous....I was worried as to what sort of a person I would come across as on paper....It was great to do the interview and really plug your personality....Im sure Ive completely lost the plot on this subject......still stressing a bit about "the phone call"...hopefully the nerves will settle after we know whats happening..... Keep smiling Lyjanka ;D
