    1) if the 25th is the start date thatl be the day u fly there, and when ur accomadation is available u cant go any earlier.

    2) i think u get 30 days to travel after ur visa expires.

    3) u start by having traditions a few days after u arrive then u start ur training at ur pavillion,

    4) the crb check?? normally a few weeks.

    5) im not sure which email ur on about i didnt get any just my welcome pack a week or so after i found out i got the job!

hope this was of some use.

    x

I havent got any other stuff through yet so dont worry, doubt they will have changed their minds ;)

As far as I am aware when you get there you check into your accomadation and settle in and then either 1 or 2 days after you go to Mickey Academy (dont think it is actually called that) and get crammed on the Disney basics and get fitted for your uniform etc.

A day or two after that you start your training in the pavilion at whatever area you are first assigned to.

I guess me and you (Lucy) will be in the toddler area of the Commons as we need baby-sitting (read. under 21 :( )

    hello there.
you actually dont even get your costume for about a week!
you have your arrival day, then a day filled with paper work, then a trip to get your US SSN and then some banking presentation thing. you will have time to settle in before you have to actually work in the park

Getting my costume was the best part of that week (although that might have been because it was a nice costume!) and getting my ID and nametag of course!

I have more questions to add!!

    1. If we are working there for a year do we get holidays to take?

    2. If I want to go early can I just turn up at The Commons on my start date or do I have to meet the guy in Orlando Airport?

Thanks! I can't think of anymore jus now but I might be back!

    X

I suspect Louisa will know this one...

Is there a Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop like in Paris? If so I will be ecstatic if I get put there because you get to dress up as a pirate right?

(I'm doing merchandise when I go in January).

Any other cool merchandise locations I should hope for?

i would love to dress up as a pirate!!! i think there was one, i could be making that up but it had LOADS of pirate stuff in it anyway!!! yayay. yeah i want to know about hols and things. if its like the uk and as we are working full time i think its normally 3-5 weeks off depending on how generous they are!! lol not very. i know its for the experience. but does anyone else think we are getting paid badly AND we have to spent a good chunk on that on accom and food and things??? x

Pirates sure do have a gift shop! It's very cool and you get to listen to pirates music all day (well from what I could gather having to perm greet at pirates sometimes).

I've heard ToonTown is fun, but I'm not really sure on any other locations. I imagine they're all fun in their own way :D
