I'm from Norway and I'm leaving for Florida on the 8th of August ;D Are anybody else going that day?

OK. Have you oten your visa application ? Where in Scotland do you live? I went to Glasgow last June, I also visited Edinburgh I lovd the shopping, it was so much better there than here in Norway. We don't even have Zara

 

i'm from edinburgh. i went to Oslo about 2 years ago...it was reallly cool!!!! i don't think i get my visa forms for ages yet...which is really frustrating!

The VISA process is quite (very indeed) slow..
...I guess you (and me, nontheless) have to wait at least 1 month to get it...
In Italy it takes 2 week just to fix an appointment with the embassey...
So BE PATIENT...
...I think we all have to!!!

I don't think any of us are there yet.
I'm doing the ICP summer program, so I will only be there from May 14 until August 25.

According to what the woman of the recruitment agency told me,
your passport must expire at least (if I'm right) 6 months after you've finished your year there...

By the way..
..you need to have a digital passport!!!
It's very important...it's required to enter the States...

 

Excuse my ignorance, but what's a digital passport?

 

In other words it has to be machine readable, on mine there are loads of arrows and numbers on the bottom of the photo page

Check the expiration day and that's it!!! ;D
It looks more like a credit card than a passport but it's fine!!
