Hello fellow Disney fanatics! I applied for the Cultural Representative Program a couple of weeks ago (for Canada), according to Yummy Jobs they are hiring for Summer of next year and I shouldn't hear back for 4 weeks at least. Can anyone shed any light on when I might hear back? I'm getting antsy!
Hey there fellow Canadian! Are you waiting to see if you get a phone interview? I think I'm in the same pool as you, so I'm just waiting to find out when I can schedule my phone interview. I think it's sometime at the end of October.
Hey, I applied in July so I'm waiting for my F2F interview now, but Yummy is usually pretty good with the deadlines they set. They told me 3-4 weeks, it was 3 weeks exactly... They told me 5-6 weeks and it was 5 weeks exactly lol Congratulations on applying and welcome to the board

To be honest I'm not quite sure what I'm waiting for! To find out what the next step is I guess. Will they call me?
You might be waiting to hear if you've passed the first application stage. They should send you an email telling you that you've been selected to move on to the phone interview. For example, I applied for the CRP in July and they sent me an email a few weeks later to tell me I've passed onto the phone interview stage. The exact words were "After reviewing your resume, we would like to consider you for the next stage of the application process and we will be contacting you in the next 3 weeks for the next stage of the interview which would be a telephone interview!" Since I said I'd like to do a face-to-face interview in Toronto, they moved me into the same pool as you (Summer 2012). Since I told them where I'd like to interview, they sent me another email saying: "We would be happy to arrange your call in October so that you are considered for our Spring Recruitment season and positions starting between July and December 2012!" I'm still waiting for an email to tell me when I can set up my phone interview, but Kristen told me it should be sometime in late October.
I just got the email this morning actually! I've moved on to the interview, sounds like they'll be doing Face to Face in Vancouver. I'm so excited!
