hi, just have a wee question. I sent my cv to yummy jobs a couple of weeks ago and then through this forum i discovered that they weren't accepting cvs until July first. I didnt get any confirmation of them receiving my cv so am just wondering if I should resend it then?? I'd quite like to change my cover letter cos I'm now thinking it's a wee bit rubbish!
Most likely they are keeping your CV on file and will contact you closer to July. However, there's nothing wrong with sending another one. It shows you're keen, right?
Hey, im like you, i sent my CV off a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything from Yummy since then. Im going to wait till the start of July and email them checking if they have recieved my CV. Good luck!
I might just resend it with a new and improved cover letter cos im really not too keen on the last one!
Im the same, if i choose to resend mine im going to rewrite my cover letter...I had no idea what to write last time so it wasnt great.
I didn't even send a cover letter and my interview's on June 11th. Don't really think it matters. Just remember to email them last week of June asking when they are recruiting again and whether they have your resumé to hand, that would be my advice! ;D
I'm in the same boat as you karenm84 and Karritada...I sent my resume/cover letter a couple of weeks ago before I had read all this stuff and became addicted to these boards LOL! I know it can be a lot better so I am going to re-send it. But I had gotten an email from them when I sent and asked them a question and they said that we could start sending in resumes/cover letters in June or later....so just to let you all know you can try applying now. After I update my cover letter then I will e-mail it! I hope to see you all!
i e-mailed michele in may and asked if i could apply from may for summer 2009, and she said it was fine...hopefully i won't have to re-send mine
