Just 1 week to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So is it just me, or is everyone else getting just a little bit excited now!!! this time next week, we will be on a plane.

So I haven't even started thinking about packing -maybe I should!!!

Hey Davina OMG its this time nxt week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started packting the other day (i've left work last week and don't have much else to do lol, ive sold my car so can't go very far either) Ive just put all my clother and stuff in at the mo just got shoes to go in really, I havn't packed much winter stuff tho coz at this min it snowing here and freezin so think it will be warmer in the sunshine state!!!
I havn't weighed my cases yet coz ive got a feeling i'll be over the limit (always am really) can't belive its only 24kg in each case, I was wanting it to be 32kg in each case lol ;D

2 VERY FULL SUITCASES!!!!

I don't actually think I have that much to take - I mean clothes don't really take up that much room do they?!

I think I may start making another list - don't want to be forgetting anything!!

People from disney come and help collect them - we've got to put the baggage labels on them that disney sent us.

Just looked on United Airlines website and it says 2 bags of 23kg each - the weight keeps going down!!!

 

its US airways we are flyin with from Manchester. It might be diff for united if you are flying with them Davina

ok seriously i remeber ppl who were already out here telling me u dont need to bring much and i didnt listen - u dont need to bring much ive been here early 3 months (god so scary) and i have bought so much stuff - ive even thrown things i bought away cos i figured if i havnt worn them by now im never going to - however december ppl i no when i say its cold its no where near as cold as the uk but u WILL adapt to the climate very quickly so bring a few jumpers or a light coat cos it gets really cold at night and on cinema night (friday) the cinema is like walkig into te arctic its bloody freezing!
Make sure u bring a omething denim (obvious i no but some ppl dont) and a plain black top for lasses!!
All of those pairs of heels that you cant decide between - u wont need or wear - i think ive worn heals 2-3 times the rest is flip flops!!
Oh and wear somthing VERY OLD for the thrown in!! ;D
Cant wait to meet the newbies - woohoo its so exciting

 

What time do you guys arrive? I',m off next tuesday and wednesday so can i be the "fit bloke" that shows you to your aparments!!??

You definetly dont need to bring too much stuff, just hit the malls and spend spend spend... but definetly bring warm clothes for the freezing nights!

 

Hey guys, I think our manchester flight gets in 1st from th UK we land at 6.27pm.

Right back to the old cloths for the throw in, I'm a bit worried about it really coz I just hav enough space for all my decent clothes never mind old stuff too : how messy do they get? cant they just be cleaned??

Think I'm just takin 1 or 2 pairs of heels max, when Ive been over there b4 I just used to wear my flip flops all the time.

Can we not get a black top over there? coz I think ive only got black vest tops?!!

The London flight doesn't arrive in Orlando until 7.30pm, we are probably the last ones to get there!!!

 

Helen I rang US Airways yesterday to check the baggage allowance and apparently we are allowed 2 cases at 23kg each plus 1 18kg hand luggage as well as a personal carry on item such as a laptop or camera or handbag

Also ive been checking our flight for the last few days and its been between 30 mins to an hour late getting into Orlando

 

well, I dunno about you guys, but all I'm gonna be bringing is a couple pairs of shorts, a few shorts, underwear, socks, maybe an extra pair of shoes, and pictures and such. I don't plan on bringing too much...

Lol- fit bloke Chris- what mirror you looking in hun! Just kidding! Definitely wear something old if poss for throwins, yes they can be cleaned- but don't wear white whatever! Otherwise- bring something you can throw away as soon as you get here. I also brought way too much stuff- 32kg each bag (although I did bring baked beans with me Havent worn half of it= its going back home as soon as my sisters come out in december. And I know it'll be different for you guys coming from the snow, but you'd be amazed= you still need jeans and jumpers!
