Hi! After a somewhat of a whirlwind week, finding out about new opportunities for the International College Program on Tuesday (I should thank Hiani for her post in the Applicants Discussion forum for letting me know!), applying on Wednesday and being interviewed in London on Saturday, I found out on Sunday that I've been accepted and I'm my on way to Orlando on June 26th. Needless to say, I'm a lil' bit excited and overwhelmed!! Like many people here, this is something I've been after for so long, but various things never worked out, like the arrival dates given at the interviews in November last year. So this is really just incredible! So...I guess I'm starting the thread for June 26th arrivals! I'm not sure if anyone who was at the interviews knew of this site, but hopefully people might wonder onto it over next couple of weeks. If not, I'm sure I'll find a few questions of my own over the next few weeks I can fill a thread up with! Need to go stop bouncing and calm down. Andy

hey andy, congrats on getting on the program, v. exciting indeed. As it happens I was at interview in London (Hammersmith) last saturday-mite have seen u. Guess we'll be on the same flight there. I got the call on sunday too and have been thinking im in a dream and will wake up soon. Nehow, have u got the visit to the US Embassy next week? If so theres three of us i know so far going to Belfast from Liverpool. Cant blive have less than 3weeks to sort out everything ! Im Sisa by the way

I no doubt did see you, Sisa, congratulations to you too! I'm going to Belfast on Wednesday 15th, but flying from Stansted. Thanks Sara. Look forward to meeting you as well This may sound an odd question but I'm going to ask it anyway...the recruiters said we had internet access points in our rooms. Does anyone know if it's dial-up or broadband? Just depends which wire I pack!!
U need an ethernet cable from what i heard. I had ethernet in my exchange yr its really fast its great! u can get the cable from wal mart (i think) if u dont have one already. xxx
Ok that's great thanks. I have, erm, a couple of ethernet cables . Will pack that one. May also bring my internet phone with me if I've got room. Would make for fantastically cheap (i.e. free!) calls home . Thanks for help!
