how did you book your seats in advance? I'm in two minds whether to or not- I'd hope STA would put us all together, or if we met up before check in we'd be together so then if I booked in advance I'd be separate. But this way I could definitely be sat near someone... hmmm... decisions! Also, are you two gonna be sat on top of one another or something ?
u go to the virgin atlantic site and then go to manage your flights. Then enter the info from ur STA receipt. and go to update ur booking, and then seat planning and then go and u can choose where u wanna sit. Think there r quite a few seats round 44H. Also I dunno if we'll b on top of one another- depends where she's sittin if she's 43H or 45H then yes, otherwise she'll just b in the same row- thats all.

Seems to be a lot on the later flight, hmm well im on the earlier flight the 10:45 one with quite a few others so guess we shall see you at the airport, maybe..?
Yeah, guessing we have to be there for 9:45, but the last time I went on a Virgin Atlantic to the states it took about 2 hours just to check in so knowing my luck we'll still be in the queue while you take off!! Wave from the plane though ! And yeah, Louise, I mostly lurk on MSN at the moment as I was doing my essay up until yesterday. I get the feeling that now I actually plan to start my revision I'll be on there a hell of a lot more though!
I've got the same problem. The only thing I could see would possibly be wrong is that I'm using flight no VS015 when the receipt says VS15, but that doesn't exist on the dropdown list, so I figure they're just the same... weird...

Hehehe I was confused... didn't think planes sat two people in the same seat, lol Do people want to meet up at the airport by the way, either before or after check in? (Not sure of any 'landmarks' there are around there, though...) Was going to suggest the same thing on the Facebook group but it's a while away yet I guess!

Hey, I'm having the same problem trying to pre book my seats on the virgin website. Anyone got any ideas how? Maybe I should phone the airline? meeting up b4 hand sounds gd to me.
For those having problems- it's probably the booking reference that's causing it, if you e-mail Virgin then they'll give you another code, and that worked well for me
