hey jason called today with all the details n stuff i dont think i can wait 4 months for my disney pack!!! is every one gonna travel after n use up the 30 days?????

we only just got ours, so its over 4 months we had to wait lol, but that was cos new packs etc! so yeah u shud get urs july time

here's what u get tania:

2 mickey stickers
2 luggage tags
a 'disney look' book
letter confirming your dates of contract
letter confirming jason has told u all about the program which u have to initial and fax/post to them
checklist of things to read in ur pack
a welcome book
some commons policies papers
disney guest guidelines u have to learn

i cant stop looking at the packing checklist all ready hahah

 

*lol* I just had mine with Mindi. She said we'd be getting our packs around the 1st or 2nd week of June. I'd just about calmed down from getting the job and now I'm all excited again

yeah the packin checklist is like u get one in the welcome book as well, and the address of the commons, that got me excited lol

too right I'm gonna use up the 30 days at the end! a load of us will prob be able to get together and do something!
I had mine today with Mindi! can't wait to get the pack! there is so much to take in!

 

Oh yeah...definately using up the 30 days, without a doubt. I used mine up from camp last year going to Disney World - go figure lol :

 

lets camp out in animal kingdom! lol i duno bout drivin yet....i know we have to take a test there or suthn if we want 2! mite just take me licsence neway or whatever! julie was rite ne1 with a car will av loads a mates

 

As far as I understand it - if you want a full licence (being able to drive across the whole country) - they cut up your English licence. You can just get one valid in Florida - where you get to keep your English one! Apparently the 'test' is ten minutes long and you don't leave the car park lol

 

i found out about drivin from other ppl on the boards

if u wana hire a car, for upto 30 days at a time... u DONT need to take the florida test! its only if u plan to buy or drive for longer than that at a time, where u have ur own car and insurance costs a bomb!

otherwise ur ok with UK license

i passed 1st time, was well chuffed with meself, but took me long enough to get into it, as only just passed and nearin 21 lol! passed the same day that i heard from yummy i was goin 2 disney *7th dec* lucky day 4 me

i passed first time too.......and yummy rang me a level results day and uni acceptance day a triple whammy!

 

I passed 2nd time! I failed my first test when I drove out of the test centre to start it, I didn't indicate and forgot to look before going out of this daft junction! did ok 2nd time tho! it would be cool just to take a florida test for the sake of it i reckon!
Ive driven a car in america automatics are cool they're like bumper cars (well not literally! I mean 2 pedals a stop and a go! lol)
