It's Official - Trapper Bob's is gone!

Well, Trapper Bob's is now offically closed, as is the boutique. The cabin is still there, but with the windows permanently covered up. How depressing! Haven't heard anything about what changes, if any might be coming, but hopefully something will happen.

 

i might be being a bit thick here - but what was Trapper Bob's ??

 

Isn't that the merch store in the Canadian Pavillion that KidKot was outside of?

 

Nope. Kidcot used to be in the Boutique - the store that was in the big castle-like building at the top of the stairs. Rumour has it that store has closed down as well...

But Trapper Bob's was the small cart that sold beavertails on the promenade.

 

Before kidcot was in the boutique it was outside beside the Post.

 

Where hasn't Kidcot been?? I remember doing it outside the Post, outside the Bootie0Q, inside the mine (damn, did that smell!). Thank goodness we never had it down by the cart...would have been crazy!

 

Too bad it's closed....when I worked the Attraction, I used to always convince people to get a "traditional Canadian pastry".

I used to work Kidcot almost everywhere! In the mine, on the Promenade, outside the Post.....

 

Kidcot is now in the Post, right beside 103, it's so crowded! And everything from Boutique has moved into the middle of the post, poor little Canada.

Trapper Bob's was the beavertail stand right beside the cart on the promenade. When I got here in December they had already stopped selling beavertails, but it's still on the park map...go figure!

 

Christa, if they can't even update the movie about Canada, do you really think they'll update the map? :

Haha....Oh Canada! What a classic. When you were working here did you ever notice a girl in a white dress in the last scene with the trees?

 

No!! But then again, I forget most of the little things about the movie....my god, can you believe I left there 7 years ago??!!!

I remember the alter boy tripping in the church scene....and the little boy skating on the canal wiping out just as the camera went by....... Heh heh...I love laughing at people when the fall...BAHAHAH!

It's not officially gone, they are going to bring it back some time in the summer they are going to try it again, just in the off season they wern't selling anything so they closed it down, but i do agree that Canada needs a update really bad!!
