Hey guys Just wanted to ask does anyone know if we need an internet service provider before we can use the internet in the apartments, or is it just a case of plug it in and go? Also, my parents have very kindly set me up with a laptop, webcam etc for me to take to Florida with me (thank you mummy and daddy ) and I really want to make sure my laptops going to work when i get out there. So I was wondering if anyone out there has a webcam set up already I can test mine with? i.e through a messenger convo, just to check my end works? You can just plug and go. If your roomates have a wireless router, it may take a couple of minutes longer, but not too difficult. As for a webcam, you should have no problem, but if you want to check it out, you can see if you can catch me online sometime. My Msn is in my profile. Laterz!
there has been threads about this before, and i am also gonna be able to take a laptop, i expect if i get stuck someone will be able to help me when i get there lol
