Hi, I know that you can go to WDWIP for many job opportunities like staff or lifeguards but do you go to WDWIP if you want to be one of the performers? Coz I don't really hear anyone talking about that... so I'm a little confused. Coz I would luv to be a character at Disneyland/world after school... AAAAGGGHHH VERY EXCITING!! Anyway thats my question... Mitchzmagic
ICP is the International College Program, and you can check out the details here: (http://www.disneyinternationalprograms.com/sap/its/mimes/zh_intlrec/international/icp.html) They give you a sheet, pretty much like the one they give you at the CRP interview, and you tick all the options are you physically able to do (whether or not you want to do them), and then choose your top three.
If anyone visiting this thread was looking for answers to be a singer or dancer in one of the many shows they do there I've looked extensively into that and they don't currently offer opportunities for those kind of roles for international applicants. At present, character performer is the only entertainment based role you can apply for and Louisa has given you all the details there about that There are opportunities in entertainment in most of the other parks though if you want to pursue a career in that area - Disneyland Resort Paris, Disneyland Hong Kong & Disneyland Tokyo. You might also like to consider Disney Cruise Line. You would have to attend an audition... usually in London. Ben
Ooooh thanks for all the information!. I'd loooove to be any character but I thought it was like 1 opportunity in a million!
Wow! i had no idea! i really want to be Jasmine but i thought i was just chasing a dream....thats very special
You can never know when they are going to put advertisements in The Stage because it happens all the year round at various points. They hold auditions for human character performers/lookalikes for Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland at various points in the uk. They also advertise for Disney Cruise Lines sometimes... not just for performance but for roles in everything else also... lifeguard, merchandise, youth counsellors, stage technician... etc etc etc You're actually better off regularly checking www.disneyauditions.com because the auditions will usually go up there with the exception of anything relating to Disneyland Paris. If you're interested in Disney Cruise Line you can contact the agency who is responsible for uk recruitment at anytime (a bit like Yummy Jobs).
