Hi everyone! I'm new and am as we speak preparing my CV to send off to WDW by the end of the week. I've a couple of questions for those in the know... 1: Ever seen an Irish CM? 2: Are WDW likely to take on Irish CMs (if not now, then in the future?) 3: Am I far too late to apply to the International College Program? I thought applying in October would be early-but apparently not! All you August applicants got a head start! 4: Do yummyjobs.com accept applications from Ireland (Republic of) for the WDW ICP? It's just that I saw a mention of Ireland on their site-though not in the WDW ICP section and submitting to yummyjobs would sure be easier than submitting to the Casting Center in Florida! I'd really appreciate any help you could give! KC
Hi KC! I'm sorry but I' pretty sure that they don't take people from the Rep of Ireland for the IP(12 month). But I don't think that there should be a problem with the CP.
Hey I have just applied and passed stage 1 and i'm from Northern Ireland. I'm eligible because we are part of the United Kingdom therefore Disney want to represent all 4 regions (incl Scotland, England & Wales).
*nods* I knew getting in on the cultural rep. program (ie. for Epcot's World Showcase) was out of the question. It's just that the wdwcareers.com site says "Please note, the International College Program is limited and may not be available in your country at this time." so I was wondering if the ICP is available in the little ol' Republic. But I'm holding onto hope for a positive reply from yummyjobs and whatnot! KC
I've had my own questions answered *g* For thyne future reference lest any other crazy Irish people pop in and I'm not around... 1: *shrug* 2: We'll wait and see 3: No. 4: Yes! Sent off the CV etc. to Alexis today. Now I join y'all in the waiting game! KC
