ok well there was another topic called the same that i remember reading last summer, but i cant be bothered to go on a mission to search for it so i thought i would make another one. so basically im just wondering what you are allowed to wear to the interview in terms of jewellery? is it the disney look so small stud earrings, one ring on each hand (have i got that right)? no necklaces, bracelets etc. or can we wear what we want? i wanna smother myself in disney couture jewellery if i get to that stage : and also in terms of clothes, do people normally wear black trousers, jacket, white shirt etc, whole shabang, or can we be different and wear a pencil skirt, or grey maybe? and heels or no heels? and guys, hopefully after these have been resolved for MOI, this thread wont turn into a load of off topic chit chat! you know who you are, you chatterboxes: (lucy, matt, jp, ro, dan) hahaha
Clothes: formal/business attire... so like I wore a black skirt, a white shirt and a suit jacket, but other people wore black trousers and a shirt. Just something neat and tidy that you could wear to a meeting in an office, that is conservative and isn't too revealing. Shoes, again, as long as you could wear them to a meeting I'm sure they'll be fine! If you're wearing trousers then I doubt the size of the heel will matter. I personally wouldn't go in stilettos cos I wouldn't be able to walk in them, and you may be given an afternoon interview and want to go for a wander which won't be cool in really high heels! But I don't think they'll take much notice. Jewellery - don't wear massive hoop earrings heehee! I would say wear studs to be safe. I'm not sure about other jewellery, I just didn't wear any I think (can't really remember it was ages ago!) but to be safe just don't wear any! I know Joanne had a cool little Disney graduation pin, though, that she wore. I think again, with everything, its just gotta be conservative and be able to fit into a business setting! Roger did say, though, that if you weren't perfectly in the "Disney Look" on the day of your interview it didn't matter as we weren't in Disneyworld! But I suppose its good to make an impression!
hey so you know what i was thinking of. ALCOHOL. haha only kidding pascha but yes, what helen says is accurado, i guess try and look conservative and normalish, and then if you want to add a little bit of sparkle just make sure it's not over the top sorry if that makes no sense, but i wanted to annoy you (pascha) without completely going off topic
Don't be scared to let your personality show, one girl wore her old disney id badge. Just don't make it look like you've walked right out of the disney store lol
yeah i see, ill just have to force myself away from my tinkerbell outfit LOL! and matt, why do you and john enjoy pissing me off so much? am i an easy target IS THAT IT?!?!?! boys... humfph
For the ICP I wore a grey suit jacket and trousers, and a baby pink matalan shirt Most were in black though (at least at mine) - so I felt the grey stood out and was memorable xx
Yeah I wore grey too Pascha... Also wore my mickey mouse watch! ;D Love that thing... Its my good luck charm and is always manages to catch ppl's attention without it being too over the top! ;D
hahahaha I think u provoke them quite a bit Pascha! Can't really blame them can u? hahaha Being the feisty little girl u are!
