Hi everyone; I'm just curious, how long after the face to face did you typically wait to find out if you're in or not? I'm kind of new at this with Disney, so any help would be awesome. Thanks, Erynn
Hey erynn well here in the uk, once we had our face to face interviews we were given a date that we would hear from which was 4 weeks exactly, if we did not hear within that time either way we had to contact the recruiters. i had my interview 12th november, and heard 7th december i got the job, which was the final week as we were told we would hear by 10th dec, the process may be different in canada, but thats how it worked at the last uk interviews hope thats helped a bit! xxx
Hi Erynn... The wait after the interviews wasn't too long although it seemed to last a lifetime. I know that the applicants in the UK still have to wait for the yellow card to arrive in the mail, but we didn't in Canada for the fall interviews. I think those at the eastern interviews last spring still got the cards. The cards basically tell you that your wait is over and you are not being considered or that you have to wait longer because you are being considered. I'm not sure how they are planning on doing it this time around. To give you my timeline.... My interview was October 20th. Eric left me a msg on November 9th "with good news". I didn't actually talk to him and find out the good news until the next day. Someone will ask, if it's not you, how long you guys should expect to wait to hear. You'll probably also find out how many positions there are and what dates they are hiring for. Trust me.... even if you have an idea of how long it will be before you find out.... everyday will feel like a year. Good Luck, Sandra
Thanks Sandra and •°o¤ Sara ¤o°• ; I really appreciate all the help. I guess I'm just so nerveous b/c they interview so many and so few actually get to go. I really, really, really want to go. I've been trying to get an interview for about 4 years now. I think it's great that Eric keeps calling me but, i'm still so nerveous. Erynn
I wouldn't worry too much. There were a lot fewer people than I expected out in Calgary. They only interviewed one day in Vancouver instead of the planned 2 days. I think when I applied a few years ago, the number of applicants was much higher. I can't speak for the interviews in Toronto last spring, but I'd assume that the numbers have gone down over the years. Regardless, as long as you be yourself and show your excitement, you'll be fine. No matter how many people are there. Sandra
