Interview dates?

Anyone know how soon before the interview you get the interview dates? I'm going to hve to book time off work for this soon before all the annual leave is booked out.

I believe you get the dates for them roughly a month in advance..

i generally have to give 6 weeks notice at work for time off just because they need to have cover all the time sort of thing so i might email yummy and see if they will tell me now

 

Yummy might be able to give you a rough idea if you email them.

 

In Germany they are on October 18th and 19th and in Norway October 21st. I guess they will be around this time in the UK as well.

 

my interview is on oct 19th in bonn

 

They are usually in November sometime...I think last year it was November 18th which was a Saturday....although the March ones were over 2 days during the week.

I think I got the email about 4 weeks before hand but it could have been earlier I don't remember (and its on my other computer so can't tell you for definite hehe).

Anyway all you can do is email Jason and explain your situation...he is always really helpful.

Good Luck for all of you...might even see some of you if I come to visit Jilly when she has hers!!

Hey all, haven't been on here for ages as I've been so busy starting my postgrad course. But I thought I'd let you know my interview (in London) has been scheduled for Wednesday 8th November. Anyone else got that date?

Not sure whether or not to go though - getting a loan for this year and I'll have to see when the repayments start and how much they are first But hopefully it's alright and I'll see some of you at the interview

Drinks sound good! I'm going to travel in from home to the interview though because I'm commuting from Essex every day anyway - just to save on the costs (but will envy all of you who are bright and fresh-faced after staying in a hotel nearby!).

Eek I'm excited too even though I shouldn't be before I've worked out my finances :-\

ive been looking at hotels in hammersmith - the novotel is gonna be way expensive like 130 a night so prob not gonna stay there there are some others nearby tho that are only about 45 a night which sounds better to me as ive decided ill go down the evening before after work and then spend the night after the interview and come back the next day so will bethere for 2 nights. i was just gonna stay for the one but then i thought what am i gonna do with all ym stuff i cant go lugging a huge bag round the interview can i and checkout tends to be by mid day meh

I got my Interview on the 9th of November in Glasgow, totally gutted :'( that I am not going to meet everyone in London but I am sure we will all meet in Disney ;D

 

THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR DOING BEFORE COMING OVER HERE!!!
im on the 2 month program and its not at all as good as they make it out to be, ive been here 2 weeks and not yet had a day off and i dont have one next week either,
the buses only take you to work or walmart so if you did ever get time off you cant get anywhere!!!, the schedule constantly changes, ive finished my training but they havent given us the 1st day training tour yet! this place is a mess and a joke!
dont get me wrong, it does have it good points ( very few ) but really think about it,
two people that joined the year program this sep from the UK went home on day 2 due to homesickness, two people have been sent home for drug usage ( thank god ), and i cant buy a pirate plastic sword cos i'll be sent home for it!

its not what Valerie and her cast member friends video make it look, if it wasnt for the people i'd be going home right now.

Just take care to read all sides of the story peeps...

Not being over there myself yet I have no idea about what to expect so I can only tell you what others have told me. Jilly who went out on the 8 week program is having a fantastic time.

People on the shorter programs do have it a lot tougher as they will in general have less time off etc etc due to the fact they are over there covering the busiest parks in the busiest times of the year.

James is 18 so he is underage but still seems to be having the most amazing time ever...if anyone esle wants blog addresses from my friends over there send me a private message and I will send you all of them (too many to put on here haha).

ive considered it i know there will be down days and there will be long and incredibly long and boring job days too and people i wont like and yeah i might miss home but i still want to experience it ive heard the bad and the good and i still want the chance to get out there and discover for myself also having lived in scotland away from home for 2 years i think i can deal with the homesickness lol it takes as long to get home from scotland as it does to get home from florida!!!

ashley its a shame we are not gonna be meeting u but yeah im sure we will see u in disney!!!

glad james is enjoying himself out there i thought he would hehe

Ive been checking out hotels and found the one im staying in its like half the price of the novotel and about 10 mins walk from the disney place so im gonna book that on payday

Ooh meant to say the hotel im gonna stay at is the Adria its on Glenthorne road and its about £65 a night so half that of novotel

my interview is Glasgow on November 9th. So so far I can see only two of us from here going to that one! I'm assuming some others will be there though
