ok so i have a wireless laptop an i know iv asked this b4 but im technologically retarded s can someone explain to me EXACTLY what i need to get online? e.g if i need wires, what do they look like? i have a box full of wires an have no clue what any of them do! any help greatly appreciated cus im doing my packing 2moro! x
u need a router which u prob dont have in ya box of cables or an ethernet cable which looks like a phone/dial up modem cable but with a larger head and it has more multi coloured wires going into the head hopefully if i did this right there should be pics here lol if not try google images for some
Wow you're good! Or you could get a wireless pod thingy from wallmart, you plug it into the wall and then you can just pick up the wireless connection all over the apartment. I think they are about $70. D x
mines wireless right, but dad sorta connected it to our home computer, but i can't get it without using the home modem, so how can i connect to the internet wen in america with my laptop? do i just buy one of those pod thingys u wer talking bout? I'm so stupid at this kinda thing.
ooooooooo thanks i think i have one of those ethernet thingys in my box! il take it but hopefully get a router if i can find the right thing in wallmart! my packing took me an entire day today an weighs far too much but nevermind im not leaving any shoes behind! this time in one week il hopefully be waiting at the luggage belt in orlando to collect it!
u can spend $70 on a pod or u can spend like $10 on a long ethernet cable or buy a router or maybe be lucky and get an appt where they have aleady gt a router in place lol
