as far as i know there is an internet connection in all the appartments, but no wlan. there should be enough wlan routers from other people around though, and if not, buy one (at walmart as everything else, i guess? ;D )

If your Xbox 360 is PAL formatted DON'T BRING IT! US Tv's don't take PAL signals!

It's a normal wired connection howevery by default in the rooms, you just need to supply your cable (and wireless router if you want wireless).

The american one won't work unless your tv will accept the signals - the Xbox 360 if bought in UK will be PAL so won't work.

Before you go - check your tv to see if it accepts the US signals too (otherwise there's not much point buying the PS3 out there)

Yeah North America (and I think Japan) run on NTSC signals, Europe and Austrailia are PAL so there's definate compatability errors there.

Also most systems lock out games meaning a US sytem can't play a game from anywhere else and vise versa... I don't believe the PS3 GAMES are region locked.

  10. So good to know all this, because I just bought a new laptop for going. lol

Dunno the price, but yes Nintendo DS systems (actually ALL protable systems) are region free for gaming.
