    Hey there
Im from the UK and i have heard some rumours that if you are on the International College Programme then you have to be returning to full time education after the summer. The thing is, I will graduate THIS YEAR and no one has asked me for proof that i will return as a student, nor have they even mentioned the fact that i have still be a student when i come back.

So im saying no, you dont have to be a student as no one has told me this, and ive been given the job for summer 2006 already! So if it was a requirement im guessing i'd have been asked for it!

Hope the situation is the same for you in Canada! :)

To go on the summer program you have to be a returning student. If you're not you can still go on the year long program!

To apply for the Cultural Representative Program, you do not need to be at university - nor do you need to be able to swim!

To apply for the International College Program (summer only), you must be in university, on a 3 or 4 year course, and be returning to studies after your time at Disney. You only need to be able to swim for this if you want to be a lifeguard....!

Later on in the process if u wanna do the College Programme you have to send Yummy jobs proof that you will be returning to University. I found out the programme off my own back nothing to do with my university and i had to give the univeristy like three letters they had to write on headed paper to prove i goin back the follow year.

    ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well according to some castmembers, we UK cast live in the World Showcase Lagoon, with the British Invasion, in a yellow submarine. So if you're from the UK being able to swim is definately a bonus. ;)

Lol! Well that gave me a wee giggle this morning. ;D

I guess you were interested in Lifeuarding stich but alas the year long program is the international program. So you'd only have the option of working F&B, merch or attractions depending on your country.

Yup...I had to send Cast-a-way here in Canada a letter that said I'm going back to school. It's a requirement of the US government for them to issue a J1 visa
