Hey ppl, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the posts, however, I cannot find any postings from people on the ICP, I am Australian and it is the first time they are offering it in Oz, so I cannot ask anyone else here about it. I was wondering if anyone else has applied for the ICP from Oz or anywhere else and whether a period of 10 weeks would be long enough? (The flight from here is very expensive, so I have to weigh it all up!!) If I go, it will be from Nov to Feb (our Australian summer) It sounds like so much fun, but I just wanted to know whether the ICP people get to live in the Commons? and where they tend to work? I would appreciate any feedback Cheers for that.
Hey! I dunno where they'd put you. It's a weird time (obviously not for you, but for here) because it overlaps the fall college program term and the winter term, so I don't know where they'd put you. My guess would be probably Chatham Square because they tend to fill up Vista and then go into Chatham. Good luck. It would have been fun to have some Aussies when I was there. Shan
Hi i just finished the programme 3 weeks ago and i was a icp and all i can say is that if there is any way possible u can go GO!!!! it was the most amazin thingive evr done in my entire life it is truely amazin the americans absolutely cherish u because your from a diff country!!! Its especially amazin if your single coz the american ladies love the accent and wud probaly date u just coz of the accent ha ha ill be honest tho that u do go there 2 work but its so fun and the livin thereis so amazin that it is soooooo worth it!!! i lived in vista all summer which was amazin because its party central!!

I think all the ppl from the southern hemisphere are the ones that do the coollege program from nov to feb right?? so would be ppl from south america , australia and africa and asia???
Hey Nico, I have been away for a week or so. So that's why I haven't replied. I still haven't heard whether I got in or not. I am beginning to think I didn't as they said we should find out within a week and that meant last Thursday but who knows maybe they are just being slow. I'll just have to wait. When I was there over xmas, there were a lot of Aussies there at the same time as a HUGE group of Brazillians....I think everyone was put in Vista - well, that's where they all seemed to be all the time anyway!!! x
