So I know we have to have medical insurance for the first 4 months, but what about normal travel insurance? Do we have to have that for a year (I'm doing the CRP)?
Can anyone give any help/ advice on this? How much would it cost, and what companies have you used before?
Also is the YJ medical the best one to use? I'm very confused about all this insurance business.

    THANK YOU!

I ended up getting mine with endsleigh as they were the only insurer that would cover pre exisiting medical conditions. However i hear STA also have a good policy, as long as you don't have a pre existing medical condition. I looked at the YJ one and decided no very quickly, the excess charge is really high for example.

Yeah, don't get yummy's one, its just basically the minimum you can get..Suppose if your not injury prone or anything tho, you might consider it, but i'd say its not really worth the risk..

I went with STA, there's is £296 for the year! Which is pretty amazing when you think about it..Not sure about how much it is when you want less than a year tho..

Also when i was getting mine i got 10% off because they were doing an offer that week or something, so i got mine for around £260 in the end! ;)
