My question is for suggestions/guide lines as to what to bring for the first few days and indeed couple of weeks Although Disney recommend to bring $500 people have said to bring more? Is it best to buy most things over there, like clothes etc What is best to bring in the line of electronics, should i bring my 360, will i have any time to use it? Just things like the above if you guys could please, so i and other people in the same situation know what to bring with them so they don't end up with too much, or too little. Thankyou for your suggestions, no matter how trivial JON1X303
Why did she bring something like that only to have it not work? You would need to use a North American 360 here unless you're bringing a UK TV as well and all the nessicary converters.
I don't believe that's an option in the 360 system settings (haven't seen it in my north american one), but I would assume maybe then your games possibly wouldn't work either.
So glad i don't have to battle with myself over whether to take a video console, i was gonna buy a Wii but after getting accepted bought a Nintendo DS instead...the Wii can wait a few more months. and it will hopefully be cheaper too..lol (The result of this is that i am addicted to Brain Training. lol) In regards to things to take i been told its a good idea to take a combination lock!
Nintendo DS is awesome!!! I also have a Wii but I hardly ever use it compared to my DS. Also Big Brain Academy is even better than Brain Training, and the DS is region-free so if you see cheap games while overseas buy them! Anyways Nintendo rant over... Did you know you have to take your own bedding? Maybe take some food incase you don't get to the supermarket for a couple days? Some 'formal' sort of clothes (nice shirt and pants are fine I think) for Traditions.
yeh, i just got a really cheap duvet and pillow and am taking my uni linens - can't sleep without a duvet - and its packed nice and small so it will take up hardly any room in my suitcase. Just bought suitcases too, cos i only had a tiny one, i was expecting them to cost a fortune but when i got to the checkout got the best suprise ever they all had be reduced by £5. Bargin!!!
The problem is i am going to miss out on Halo 3 :'( By the way, if i buy a duvet and sheets over there, like Disney suggest, what do i do for the first night? JON1X303
Guess it will be just a mattress then lol. Halo is not lame, most popular online multiplayer game ever. But it is not to everyones liking, i don't mind people saying presuming they have played it, otherwise if you haven't done something how can you give an opinion on it lol JON1X303
Halo is ok suppose F.E.A.R tho is amazning my xbox just got the red ring of death so im screwed atm Hopefully if im over there for feb we can have xbox games
Trust me guys even if you pay for the extra bandwidth the connection here isn't good enough to support online games (I have a great download speed but still only about 6 kbps upload speed). I might be needing a co-op person for H3 though.............
I'd love to take my PS2 cause I luv Disney's & Squares "Kingdom Hearts' and 'Kingdom Hearts 2'. Plus Singstar games are the best for groups of people so much fun to be had with a group of people basically playing karaoke.
Indeed, but you can easily system link Xbox and Xbox 360 to play ridiculously massive games with loads of people, which can be any style or genre that supports system linking. Which is pretty much most of the best sellers. Theoretically with a long enough cable, or wireless internet connection you could link between two adjacent apartments for even larger games JON1X303
