Hey everyone,
I figured we should start a board, telling everyone about ourselves, so we can get a headstart on getting to know each other. My name is Chase Encil. I live in Huntsville, Ontario, but am currently in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, because I was going to Sault College, taking the Parks and outdoor Recreation Technician program. I am 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, slightly muscular, brown hair, blue eyes, SINGLE, and I'll be working f & b in the Canadian pavilion. I'm extremely athletic, and play pretty much EVERY sport. I've been told by a few people that the uniform for Canada looks goofy, but I bet to differ. I have been a true lumberjack for 3 years now, so the uniform is EXACTLY what I have been wearing everyday for years. Well, I wore really thick pants, because if the trees or saws hit you, its not a god idea to wear shorts... If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask, I'm possibly the most open guy you will ever meet!

As soon as the results for us ICPers come out in mid-december, I think I might start something similar for us. Pending, of course, on whether I get accepted or not...

Well I'm Davina - nice to meet u by the way!! I am heading to Florida in 2 weeks .

From Kent in England (where it's always cold) I'm only 20 (but get to celebrate my 21st in the states). I currently work at The Disney Store which is a great job - just really bad work hours.

The general - blonde hair blue eyes only 5ft 5, so a bit of a shortie - I'm a bit of a Disney Geek, but that kinda comes with the job.

Well thats all I can think of at the moment - but I will be seeing u in a couple of weeks!!!!!!

Ok i'm helen 23yrs old (yeah i'm prob the oldest from us dec 6th lot) I live in a small village in the North East of England and I work full time as a Travel agent.
Im blonde, brown/green ish colour eyes 5 5'' tall (i think) and you wil just have to guess to how much I weigh coz i'm not going to tell ya!!!!

But my sister who did the program years ago, married a Floridian, and now lives down there, was just called back to do some work at Le Cellier again as they are under-staffed apparently. So you may get to meet her. Her name is Jayne, and she'll only be working Friday and Saturday nights. I was in Merchandise and Attractions (which have also now been split into two different areas since I left) and loved every minute of it!! So I'm wishing you tons of fun both inside and outside of your work that you will do there!!! It's a BLAST!!!

i am 21 will be 22 in january. i come from a small village outside Northampton(England) I graduated this year from the university of leicester where i did history and history of art. i am currently working as an trainee estate agent which is what i want to do eventually. (preferably in florida) like davina said you have to be a complete disney nut to do this job and i am. speaking of which davina i dont know if it was a rumor but i heard that you had to sing in the disney store interviews??? is that true???

i am very small 5"1' blond hair brown eyes. I love working out in the gym although have got bit lazy since i moved home. maybe you could teach my the rules of american football as i dont get it at all but would love to know what they are doing!!! i understand rugby though if that helps!!!!

I'm Julia (Jules) from Australia. I'll be joining you in Florida in only a few days. Crazy! I'm doing the International college program with my best friend Nadia and I shall be lifeguarding there which should be a lot of fun. I'm currently studying International Studies, French and Commerce and will be picking up Spanish next year. I work in a bar, a coffee store and do some on campus marketing as well. I'm also now the director of on campus communication for AIESEC Adelaide uni. I'm 19 years, 5ft11, blonde, and green eyed. At this point in my life I'm trying to do as much as possible to avoid living a life of regrets and what ifs. I'm extremely excited at the moment about the states and Disney. Although I'm also quite stressed as I have a million and one things to do before I go and I'm still trying to finish a politics essay on America. Hopefully everything will work out according to plan. Anywho better get on to that essay. Can't wait to meet you in person.

Hey girls,

You all sound awesome, and I can't wait to meet you! I'd be happy to teach you football, or anything else you'd like to know abou, that I know of. However, my understanding of football, and American football mybe different. I play Candaian football, which is more fun, and more of a workout. We play with more men on the field, so its harder to gain and yards, and we play with a longer field, so if there is a footrace, its more exciting. Other than that, I can't wait to meet everyone, we are gonna have a blast!

@ Natalie - I didn't have to sing in my interview for Disney, but I have heard that other people had to sing - not sure if it was true or not tho!!

We do alot of singing in store tho!!! We've got Xmas songs already, and music fromMary Poppins The Musical - it does make the day a bit more fun!!!

@Chase--I used to go to Huntsville with my dad's work to stay at this really awesome place for their Christmas party...we had our own houses....well...I would have been 7 and 8 so maybe it isn't really that cool...
Anyway, I am 5" tall....yes I really am very short and I weigh about 110lbs....I have brown hair and green eyes. I work at a restaurant called Swiss Chalet right now and I can't believe that 2 weeks I'll be leaving for Florida!

I'm 22 years old and am studying psychology at uni, although I'm taking a break from it next year to study music (I play violin) and languages - French, Spanish and German hopefully. I'm travelling to Florida with my best friend Julia who also got a disney job. We're leaving for florida in about 16 hours, I can't believe it!!!!! Ahhh! I'm sooo excited!! I'll be working in food and beverage! I'm 5ft10, have blonde hair and blue eyes. Hey everyone,

Im Elizabeth, otherwise known as Izzy, im from the UK and live in a town called Bury which is just outside of Manchester.
Im 21, although im 22 in February, finished studying for a Law degree back in June and have been working at ASDA Walmart to save for the crazy year at Walt Disney World.

At disney im gonna be working in UK merch - gotta love the uniform!

Im 5f6, slim, blonde and a bit dizzy - I only just figured out why a scarecrow's called a scarecrow the other day!

I love shopping, theme parks and rollercoasters so if anyone wants to hit the theme parks any time of fancys a trip to the mall give me a shout

 

I so wish I was going again!! Thanks for the kind words Chase!! Trust me, if I visit Florida, I always go and visit the Canadian Pavilion.....especially to see the managers. I like to stop and see where all the Cast-Members are from! It's a great way to start a conversation! I wish you all the best in Food and Beverage....from what I understand, it's a lot of hard work, so do your best, and have fun!! Have a safe trip down too!! Only about two weeks until you leave I guess.......Ho hum, and I'll be sitting up here in the cold cold winter...... :'( Anyway, thanks again, and keep givin' them the magic!!

Chase, I don't remember what the place is called, I just know that it is in Huntsville. Brockville is 45 minutes away from Kingston if you know where that is, if not, it's an hour south of Ottawa.
