Hi I was thinking ???, when i'm going out in August with another girl, we are going to stay in one of the disney hotels for 2 nights before we start just to get adjusted, would there be any nice person already out there be willing to use your discount on the hotel for the 2 nights? Was just wondering as I will do it as well for anyone that asks once I can give it, just so that I can help. ;D ;D ;D

I dont go till 6th Sept 2011 but if anyone is able to help me i will owe them one as well. Havent quite decided when i am actually going out. I will see a bit closer to the time. If we are able to do it i will give other people discount if they need it. xxx
guys, even with cast discount you can still get hotels for a lot cheaper than the disney ones..... for anyone on a budget it may be worth having a look at non-disney hotels.... just an idea and also, remember that to get the cast discount you have to have worked there for over 90 days (3 months...) and you have to sign your guests in at the hotel when they arrive etc......
why do you want to stay at a disney hotel? just curious you dont get your id for the parks until after traditions os you wont be able to get into the parks for free - if your on disney accomodation you have to use disney transport so will have to pay higher prices for food and stuff by either eating at the hotel or going to dtd which is more expensive than satying somewhere like i drive?
Hey hun! If you wanted to look at a non disney hotel, a group of us are all staying at the Best Western on I-drive for 3 nights before we go to check in! I think my room was like £129 for three nights, breakfast and shuttles included, right near to Universal and lots of resturants, but also easy enough to get a cheap taxi down to vista when we check in! We all went via expedia - seems to be the cheapest place for Orlando hotels!! xx
ok i changed my mind, i think i might stay on idrive when i arrive too! was thinknig about POP but as you said above, cheaper for a non disney hotel lol
I-Drive for the win!!! Loads of eaty places so you can get something quick when you arrive and i'm pretty sure there is a massive walmart on it so you can get the essentials when you arrive ;D xxx
Go for I-Drive!! The hotel we booked also has free WiFi and certain rooms have microwave, fridge etc so if you did want to go to Wal-Mart and stock up on a few micro meals if you didn't want to eat out you have the facilities! Also if you have a Nectar card, you can earn Nectar points with Expedia x
Wow that's amazing value! I think I-Drive definitely sounds like a plan...sounds cheap and it's an exciting place to be, haha!! Will def need a Wal-Mart trip etc when we arrive so I think that's the best bet xx
