Hi all! This is for all of you who are out there in dreamworld right now For those who just arrived recently, what are your first impressions of the place? Is it better or worse than expected? Are the people better or worse? What about training and your new job? What's it like? Better or worse than you thought originally? And for those of you who have been out there a while... When you applied/got in, you must have had certain expectations of the place. But there must be a difference between what you had thought then back at home and how you feel about it now while you're actually down there? What's different, is it better or worse and what's your favourite part of the place? Kev
I'd really like to know, what we do our very first day there...like I start March 14th, so what will I be doing on the 15th...Traditions very very early in the morning I suppose?
I think the first day you get there, you settle in and have your throw in (possibly) The next day then you have to sign all your paperwork and stuff... I think Traditions starts either that day or the day after... Not sure... K
Yeup first day is moving in and throw in! Paperwork starts the day after and carries on for a week lol As far as expectations...I tried not to have too many because they're hardly ever right. Mine pretty much were though. I like my job, I love the people here, I love the lifestyle...what more could you ask for?
I got out here on Tuesday December 6th, and it was been great so far. The paperwork is annoying, but everyone has been great. The throwns ins are funny, and a great place to meet everyone. We had traditions today, which started a bit boring, but after a couple of us got the giggles (well Helen and myself) it got a bit more interesting!!! It is so much better then I expected - the UK cast already here are so friendly and there is plenty of nights out to get to know everyone. anymore questions just ask DavinaX
Hey every1, yep lots of paperwork!!! (thanks davina for helping me 1 day as I was to hungova to know what I was doing lol) its great hear and the ppl are just so nice. You will forget a lot in your 1st week just coz there is soo many classed to fill in paperwork and stuff and it all goes over in a blur!!!! but its just so much fun!!! Helen xx
The first week has two sides to it. Well, it did for me, anyways. During the day, you do paperork, and get bused around with all the new people, so yu get to know alot of people fairly well that way. During the evening, night, and sometimes into the early morning, everyone who was already here throws parties, and you go, and meet them. Don't worry, we won't bite, its basically just to relax from the day of paperwork, and they tell you secrets of the Commons, so that you can at least T R Y to stay out of some trouble.
