    ;)Hey you all,

    My name's Jingjo, from Thailand.

I applied for the attraction position on WDW international summer program. Will be there March 10th, 2009 until the end of May

I'm not being over-action but it's really is my dreams come true. ;D

I haven't seen any threads from thai before, so I think I should be posting this.

If anyone got advice or anything, I beg you please tell me. :-\

    I've got few questions also;

    1. I don't have a pavilion in Epcot, what is my possible work location then? I'm in the attraction position.

    2. Which is the best kind of apartment? 1-4 rooms. I've been thinking 2 rooms is the perfect one maybe, but how should I know?

    3. Do we, cast members, have discount for AMC Pleasure Island? I've got tons of movies I wanna watch during the program, Hannah Montana Movie is an example.

    4. Do we get to work in or at least experience the Disney Channel Games 2009? I know it hasn't been confirm but I'd love to be there, It's like the best place I wanted to be traded to all my days off on the week.

I'll always have new questions popped out of my head so if someone wants to help me out or get to know me please add me on my MSN : tozapit_bcjgt@hotmail.com

I'm a friendly type of person and I love meeting new friends. for now, Nice to meet you!!!

    thanks for reading

    Hey Jingjo.

Well done on getting onto the program. You will be on the ICP program, you only work in the pavillions if you are on the Cultural Representative Program. You could be working in any of the Parks or at DisneyQuest.

You dont find out what apartments you are in until you get there, so it could be any number of rooms, i dont think they do one bedroom, think the minimum is two but i am unsure of this, i will be going out this summer to work in merchandise.

Cast Members get discount all over disney so i would assume so for AMC.

I dont know about the Disney Channel Games 2009, never thought of that to be honest.

And for your last question, it costs a lot to keep your costume, but i dont know the exact price.

Thanks for joining us at wdwip and we all welcome you to come and have a magical time on the forum.

We are all excited here for going out, and i am ecstatic, hehe.

    Hope this has helped!

From what I've heard from one of my friends is that you do not get to keep the costumes UNLESS they have discontinued the costumes. Then you can purchase it at the back lot of Magic Kingdom at a dirt cheap price.

On the costume front there isnt a 'legal' way you could keep your costume, but if you really wanted it you could 'lose' it or fail to return it and get a fine - don't know how much the fine would be though.

You definitely get discount at the cinema at Downtown Disney (as well as the one at Universal's Citywalk).

On the Disney Channel Games front, as you stated they're not confirmed yet so could be cancelled, plus previously they've been aired June-August, so if they're done in real time they may not have happened by the time you leave in May - I don't follow them so am just guessing here. If you did happen to be there you may be able to watch as a guest, or perhaps if you're lucky be able to pick up an overtime shift in a role which does not require training, but its a long shot.

And as above, on the housing front you have no choice in who you're initially put in an appartement with or what size, but after 3 weeks may request to move for $50 if you feel you need to (if there are serious issues you may be able to move earlier without the fee)

Thank you you all ^^ I really appreciate it

and I'm so glad I got discount for AMC!!

BTW, how far is WDW to Jacksonville? If possible I want to catch Taylor Swift on her tour on May 1st. But if not then it's OK I already planned on going to Lady Gaga's concert in HOB Downtown Disney anyway... (this might sounds silly but do I get discount for Lady Gaga's concert too? since it's held in WDW)

Working in costuming, i found that the fine is about $50 dollars depending on what type of garment it is. Obviously, if you are a character performer, you cant "lose" anything as that is soooooo illegal in disney!
