IM GOING 23RD SEPTEMBER 2008 WHOOP WHOOP!!

ive done it again im goign back to disney but to do the epcot program just found out today the date iim going is 23rd sept which has got me all excited again!! let me know if anyone else is goign around then or hoping to go once u had ur interviews over next few months

Just found out I'm going this day too! Quite glad to have found someone going the same time!
I'm not sure exactly what role I have as it wasn't mentioned but I asked for F&b so i'm sure that's what i've got!

 

I'm the 9th!
So will be at least the same month!

Is everyone flying from London? I want to pay for my own flight but would like to get the same one as everyone else but then if no one is getting the same flight I might go out early and spend a few nights at the animal kingdom lodges with a savannah view just to have some luxury before the commons hits!

Michele said she'd call back with more details but hasn't yet so i'm not quite sure what I am doing.

Elle - i would recommend staying in AK lodge when youve got the disney discount!! Save all those pennies!!

Im so excited! I was thinking of booking the flight through Yummy just so that i will be with others on the flight. I would love to stay in one of the hotels before but im not sure whether i want to save my money for shopping! lol im a shopaholic! But i will be flying out of London so i guess its whether there will be others on the flight too!

So now that we have had the acceptance call do we just wait? I dont know whats happening now, do they email us or something?

I'm from Manchester but will more than likely fly from London as i'm working in Southampton until the day before I fly out! Every penny counts!
I guess you're right about flying out early, i'm gonna spend a year at Disney so two extra days before won't mean much! lol

I was going to book through Disney but i've heard people can end up on indirect flights and it takes 14 hours rather than 9! I guess I could wait to see what flight Disney books for everyone and then try get the same one but I think they leave it a bit late so it might cost more. I had a look at Virgin though and they have one leaving from Gatwick at 12.45 (costs £594 - Ouch!) so I might go with that, but just wait until Virgin have a sale on or something! lol Actually, just checked sta travel and you can get the exact same Virgin flight for £339 so I may book that soon and just hope everyone else is on the same flight! Gets you in for 5pm too which isn't too bad!

I had my acceptance call thing yesterday and Michele just said we'd get our terms of acceptance through the post in a couple of weeks and it would explain the time scale and she said they send the paperwork out in the order it needs to be done.

 

hey im a shopaholic also!!! We are across the road from a huge outlet at the commons so your in luck!! When i went for the ICP job in 06 i booked with through yummy - well their recommendation just so i flew ut with everyone going same place as me!!! I ended up sharing a room with a girl i met at the interview and was meant to be on same flight as her as i was down for london gatwick but decided to go from manchester!! we are really close friends now!!so on of u maybe stuck with me when we get there The flight that i got was an indirect flight like u were saying elle!!it was a right pain so if some of us did book a dirct one im happy with that also!!! think it might be london for me too then f two of u are going from there for def!! i got my disney pack through from yummy a month ago after my phone call going through the pack that is expected to arrive- with the form for background check etc and a fax sheet to send t disney ASAP accepting ur place!!Im waiting to hear from disney now with a another pack woop woop!! Wll get adding on fb now!!! speak soon x x

 

Yeah i saw that flight too, im considering booking that, cause thats pretty cheap and it wont be such a long flight as the one that Yummy will do! Plus it comes in at a good time.

I added you! I love how everyone's statuses have been very similar.... think mine was 'Elle is going to Disney!!!!!! Sept 23rd!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' or something like that! lol

Would it be a bit soon to book flights? I'm really scared about waiting and then the price shooting up! But don't wanna book now in case (God forbid) plans change! I can't believe i'm already fretting about this stuff and we have 6 months!

 

wow girls - looking at flights already think im doing something wrong!!!! I will do whatever im easy either way yummy or independant aslong as im not flying alone - flight will seem like forever being on my own!!! Is there anyone else u know of going same day et?? i havent come across anyone else yet but wasnt at your interviews in march so u might already be incontact with those people !!!

i dont know of anyone else on this day! there seems to be hundreds for december lol! i agree with you though i definately would prefer not to fly on my own, it would just go on forever lol! although i am now considering booking my own flight based on the fact that it would be a direct flight so a much shorter amount of travel time - esp cause i dont like flying!
