For the ICP this year we were offered a choice of three start/end dates. I can only do the later one (June 22?).

Will all the best positions be filled by those who arrive earlier? Will they be more likely to work in their preferred park/area?

I would assume in this case yes.
Because the ICP doesn't have groups coming and going the whole time you may end up with the leftovers.

Is there much difference between the three dates?
because if that is the case a group would be leaving before you leave which may leave something for you guys?

I don't think it matters. I'm on May 25-Aug 8. If you start June 22nd, you have your training and by the time you're done your training, I'm leaving, so you're stepping into my shoes. That's why they do it like that.
You have about the same chance as everyone else.

    Yeah!
    That's what I was thinking.
I wasn't sure how much the dates varied.

i dont think this is the case! They need people everywhere all the time. People on different american and international programs are starting and leaving all the time so you could end up anywhere, it is just random!
