to join this group. My name is Stephanie and I am a big fan of Disney just like you guys and I found this site looking for more information on new castmembers. I already live in USA and I just got hired by disney to work in the reservation dept. I start 5/12/05 and I am very much looking forward to it. I hope Im allowed to join because I think it would be very interesting to meet new people from different parts of the world and also fellow cast members. Just like you guys I am counting down the days until I start working for the mouse. I have been living in Florida for 2yrs now and this is my 3rd time applying and I finally got the call and interview and now job. Yes I know where Haines city is at. I live in kissimmee which is a 15 to 20min drive to Disney. so Im not very far form the mouse. For all of you who are coming within the next couple of months be prepared for the heat it gets so hot in the summer months. Also keep your hands crossed we dont have another hurricane season like last year. But nevertheless you guys are gonna have the time of your life! Steph
hehe yeah steph, know all about the florida weather, ive been to the state 13 times, every year since i was 7, and we always go june time so im gettin as prepared as possible lol! oh yeah please no hurricanes!!! xxx

In reservations I will be taking calls booking rooms for guest, selling them tickets to go with there resort stay and also making dining reservations. So basically its a behind the scene job but I still get to spread magic cause I have interactions with guest when they call to make there reservations. Steph
oh yea to the other questions Im originally from Newyork. And to the Hurricane question. I hope I never have to experience one again. But I will tell you this Disney was outstanding during Hurricane season. they made every guest feel as comfortable as possible. My family and I stayed home for the first one and after seeing trees and roofs fly around we never did that again so everytime we heard another hurricane was coming we made reservations at Disney. Now that Im gonna be working for them I feel safer knowing if we do have another bad season at least well be safe. Stpeh
