Actually, for a windows PC press CTRL and Print Screen at the same time. Then just open up your fav editing program (I like Photoshop but Paint will do in a snap) and save it. You'll have to cut out all the extra crap cause it copies the whole screen (make sure your mouse isn't over the picture, otherwise your picture will forever have a white cursor hoovering over it)

Be warned though. The pictures you get this way are extremely low-res and don't really print much bigger than 4x6 and even then they're pretty pixelated. If you have a REALLY special picture I'd suggest you pay the price for it.

You can as well download any screen capturer as irfanview, who lets you cut them and stuff or capture sequences. Its freeware and its on www.irfanview.com you open it, go to options, then capture, then start and select the options, where to put the images, and stuff and then you begin capturing just pressing ctrl F11. Its not that complicated as it seems and you even can capture stills if you are reproducing videos on youtube or the DVD player or even capture images from the cam on msn, is useful and easy to use and free and doesnt use much space.
