how much money are people taking with them?

    Just wondering approximately how much money people are taking with them to start with?

    As much as I can save before I go in September!! I think most people say the minimum you'll need is about $500 but I want to try and save more than that is possible...I want to be able to have fun the first few weeks without worrying about money xx
