I know that it says that we should expect to be in the interviews all day but how long is that? I am going to the TO interviews on March 9th but I have an exam in Windsor on the 10th :p so I am gonna have to travel that night. I am trying to work out travel information but I have no idea really what time I should be looking at. ???

I read on these boards somewere that the face2face interviews can start from around 11.30am and last until about 6.30pm, you get given a time between that and each interview is around 15mins.

Yeah from all I've seen, the interviews are between 11 & 6 and staggered by how far from home you are. Obviously so if you live on the other side of the country, you're not the last person to be interviewed lol

I interviewed in Calgary this last October and I remember I got there in the morning and probably left around 3:00? If I can remember right. It really depends on when you get scheduled for your interview, I fortunately was scheduled very early on in the day, after the presentation. But I met a lot of cool people whom I had lunch with and decided to hang with for a while, which was really fun btw. So expect being there all day just in case your interview ends up being later on in the afternoon.
    Have fun!

Of course it was, Jo! How have you been? :)

Fuzzy, email Eric or just talk to him when you get there. I flew out to Calgary from Toronto for the interviews and didn't know if I was going to stay the night of the interviews or fly back that night. Eric said that he would try to get me in for an interview in the morning. Sure enough, he did. I ended up deciding to stay the night and I'm glad I did. A bunch of us went out that night, which was fun. Although, the walk around the campus for lunch wasn't so fun for my feet. :p Yes, depending on how many people are at the Toronto interviews, and I will assume it will be more than the number in Calgary, it will probably go until 5 or 6pm. I think Eric usually tries to get those coming from out of town into the interviews before those who live in the city. He's pretty cool about it so just talk to him.

    Good Luck...

    Sandra :)

Thanks a lot guys. I will e-mail Eric and let him know about my situation. Hopefully I'll get an earlier interview and maybe I'll even have time to study. ::)

I flew out to Vancouver from Toronto for mine, but I was there for a week, so I didn't go until sometime like 4:30pm. It was late in the day...but my first interview, I went at like 11:30am. It's luck of the draw really, but I do think they try to get the far-out-of-towners first. You can talk to them the day of the interviews and you can probably switch your time if you can find someone willing...that happened at both that I was at. You will meet people to talk to though.

I suppose the best thing about a lter apponintment is that it gives you the chance to talk to alot of people and get to know a few of them.

I would love to stick around and meet everyone there. It would be way more fun then going home to write an exam. However it's my last semester at university and then I am done. So I'll suck it up and do it. Then I'm going to Disney World! I hope......

    re:

Hey Sandra! I've been busy busy like usual. What have you been up to? The day is drawing closer and closer. I've been so swamped with school work and work itself, that I've barely had time to think about Disney. I'm soooooo looking forward to finishing school and then working like mad to make as much money as possible before I leave. Only 115 days longer, but who's counting, hehe

Jo, when those days get into double digits, that's when it will start to feel unreal. There's too much snow on the ground and it's too cold for me to believe that June is getting closer. The time is moving slightly faster than I had expected. That might be because I am working so much that time just seems t move. I guess that's the key... keep busy and you won't even realize how much time is left before we leave.

    Sandra :)

Time is flying. I'm freaked about by the fact that we're almost in March, where did the last two months go?! But there's only a little over a month of school left, that makes me feel really good. I better get my act together, I haven't gotten my passport yet so I guess I should do that real soon. I heard they can take a while to process, eek!
