How early did people start looking into these programs? I'm only 16 but I'm very keen to do the international college program in the future. I was last at the parks just over a year ago and it was during training so alot of the people at the attractions were brand new and were telling me about the program and it really sparked my intrest. I've always had a passion for Disney, but most importantly Disney World. I have the title of official Disney nerd at my school thanks to my daily Disney fact and trivia question that i share with my Math class. This title was also given to me as everyone thinks its wierd that I am always listening to Disney World podcasts, and the fact that I have more Disney audio in length than the other 150 CDs on my Pod. I've seen a few people who are 17 on the forums excited to go and I can't think of anything more enjoyable. Mind you for some reason I spend most of my free time researching the parks and the sheer complexity and ingenuity behind the world fasinates me. I'm really hoping to get into the Business school at U of C in Calgary, Canada, and I really hope i will be able to go into the program after my first year of studys. (Summer 2009) So I guess i'm just interested in how early other people became interested in the program. I love forums and just found this one and the conversation seems pretty interesting so expect to see alot of me.
Hi Brennan, I dont know if this helps, but this is what i know about the program.... you gotta be at least 18 and registered in school, and also return to school after the summer spent in disney. I only heard of this program literally a week ago, I applied, got a phone call the next day, got invited to Toronto, and I have my F2F on monday. Very quick process for me... i dont know if this is typical or what. I'm in my first year at u of w this year, and they said that was fine. I believe u just need one year under your belt.... hope that helps you. Good Luck with everything.

I'm in the same situation, iPod wise! I remember looking at the WDW College Program site when I was 16 and thinking "I wish there was an international version!"... Then, I found the International site when I was 17 and have had my heart set on it since! I want MK Attractions more than you can imagine - I've been working towards it since my 4th year at secondary school, after all! ... *crosses fingers* Roll on late May! KC
Disney music? On MP3 players? Of course, I'd never do that..... And I never listen to the Official Album. Or Illuminations. Or Fantasmic. Or FOTLK. Or Spectro. :-[
