How does that work with signing in friends and family? For free or discount?

    I read that it is possible to get friends and family into Disneyworld for free/with discount. But how does that work?
    Is there a limited number of how many people you can sign in during the year?
    Because I have family living over there as well as loads of friends that might want to come down and see me! :)

    Hi!

    Whilst working for Disney you get what is called a 'Main Gate Pass'. This is your card to let friends and family into the park for free. You are allowed to let up to 3 of your friends and family into the parks at one time (4 including you). You get 16 of these passes on each 'Main Gate Pass' and you will only get one pass for your time at Disney. You can check the balance of your card online once you have received it, so you know how many you have left.

    Additionally with being a Cast Member you are able to buy discounted park tickets from Company D, which is a Cast Member only shop in WDW, so even if you run out of 'Main Gate Passes' you are still able to buy cheaper tickets for them and sometimes this option works out better as with your 'Main Gate Pass' you have to be with your friends and family to let them into each park and with work this can be quite tricky!

    i also have a question in regards to this, say if you were to let 3 people in on one day, would that be 3 of the 16 passes or 1?

    Hey thanks a lot!
    So I just found out I will be working for Arribas, meaning I wont get the Main Gate Pass to let friends and family in for free. But I still have the company ID dont I? THat means I can still be tickets cheaper?

    KARA - That would only count as 1 of your 16 passes :)

    Fairy Princess - You'll get an Operating Participant ID which means it's not a full Disney ID so I'm not sure if you'll get all the same discounts as Disney employees. You will get some discount though :)

    ahhh thats really dumb that I didnt know that much about what it will mean if I work for Arribas!
    But oh well- I ll either get some discount or my visitors will have to pay full price :D
