The magic that once existed in my heart for Disney is quickly going away. I knew when I accepted the job that I shouldnt expect the same wicked time as last year. What I wasnt expecting was for Disney´s standards to sink so low. Apparantly they have been rehiring people that were terminated, the Disney look is something of the past I think because 12 of my co-workers have goatees and only 7 of them are guys. Its really really frustrating because so many of the fine details like the 7 service guidelines are such foreign concepts to most of the people I work with. My managers looked at me like I was an alien when I asked if we could give a no strings to some guests that were waiting a while. Its strange. The living experience is different also. We are all housed at Vista Way. Its cleaner than I expected, but the people here arent nearly as friendly as the Commons. I think its because everyone works at different locations and takes different busses unlike when we all got cozy on the C bus. Its not all bad though, Im working at Animal Kingdom which is amazing!! I love that park so much!! The general opinion of most other people that I have spoken with that are on the H2B are really unhappy and feel like we were mislead and junk. At first I kind of felt the same way, but I am starting to see it from a different point of view and it makes more sense to me. I think thats all I have to share from now. For a more heated point of view seek out any Brazillian alumnist! LOL, they sure have opinions!!
