If you are planning to go out a bit early than youre start date, does anyone know of any good or cheap accomadation to stay over night? I know a few people who are going a few days before, anyone know of hotels near the airport or even where we have to go on our day of arrival date?
According to my 'Unofficial Disney Guide' nearest places to Disney to stay is on either International Drive or Buena Vista. According to the guide rooms can cost about $90 a night but i'm sure you can get them even ccheaper looking online closer to your arrival date I was going to stay at POP Century but Disney want £105 a night
Hey Hey Im going one day before and im thinking of staying on international Drive you can get a pretty decent but cheap hotel there for around $40/£25 im going on holiday in february and staying on int drive, so ill have a nosey round then to see whats good x
I was going to go out a few days early and stay at the rosen plaza, it was only £75 a night but i am going out on the 21st rather than earlier. i may stay somewhere afterwards though.
International drive is quite far away from where all the cast members stay, so I'd stay in lake buena vista if you can..If not international drive is fine, its only $1 on the bus to lake buena vista, but its quite a distance from what I remember..
I second that. There or like Kissimmee (Maingate East) area. The actual street International Drive is not so far, but the part of it that has the hotels is. There are a ton of hotels in LBV/Kissimmee MGE area with every range of rate imaginable.
I was looking at Holiday inn sun spree. Its really close, right on LBV. About $75 a night. Would be fine for a night.
I haven't stayed there but I know where it is, that's a great location in relation to the complexes and shopping and whatnot. I have stayed at an HI SunSpree in Aruba and they were great there... I had the idea the other day, if you're going a day or two or three or whatever early, do your Wal Mart/grocery shopping then, so then it's not so rush-rush on moving day.
I'm arriving two days early for my program and will be staying there. If you drive straight out of that hotel, across the road, there's a Chick Fil A... Keep driving in a straight line and you'll drive through the fence of Vista Way That hotel is, literally, walking distance to Vista and about 2 or 3 minutes drive to the Commons and Chatham Square. It's a pretty great location if you want to be close to the complexes.
Look into the Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista. There are 3 hotels at the complex, I'm not sure how much they cost per night but we stayed there in 2004 and it was really nice Also it's literally straight over the road from the housing complexes- which is always a bonus
That's a good suggestion too. I used to work for Marriott and Fairfield Inn and SpringHill Suites are their most economical brands. I know there is one just like minutes walk to the complexes. If I had to guess, you're looking at 75-100 US a night, depending on the season of course. Oh and both those brands have breakfast included, and not just a basket of muffins and hours old coffee lol Saves you 10 bucks a day right there lol
