I remember when i first got my job, and as most of u others out there i was just as excited as u are! Thats why im going to give u a little info in this topic that ill hope will be useful

Yes there is cable in every apartment

Yes there is internett in every apartment, some are wireless and some are not

There are busses leaving for Walmart, Epcot and all the other usefull stuff. Theres also a little shopping center right across the street of Walmart (i thought that walmart was the only possible shopping place that was close, so i was surprised to find shops right across the street) theres clothes, music, movies, shoes, resturants and so on, and its kind a cheap, exspecially the clothes

Theres a cinema in Downtown that shows new movies!! a great cinema and a great place to relax, theres busses leaving for Downtown throgh out the day

Theres a clubhouse with internett, info like bus tables and so on, ping pong table and pool.

Theres a lot of parking space, so u can have your car at

theres telephones in the apartments, u can call to every apartment in the commons, and maybe wista way and chatham, that i dont know.. but its free, great way to talk with friends and so on.

Theres a closet for each person that u can lock, this is not a closet to have clothes in, but valuble stuff, its kind a small, u have a drawer, and a nightstand, and theres also a lot of space in the room where the lockers is, u can hang suites, shirts and so on.

Theres dishwasher, washing machines, drying machines.

hi Tessa, im having a wonderful time, i can honestly say that before i were down here, my exspetation were kind a OK.. u know? Disney was a cartoon company in my eyes, with donald and all that and some movies, but now, i realised that disney is kind a religion in the USA, hehe.. every american looks up to the company and i have the pleasure to be working for it, when we are watching movies of disney, and Walt disney (the main person) it kind a gets to me, hehe, maybe weird?? but i dont care, hehe, look forward to it, and look me up, ill give u a tour see ya all, and ask if theres anything u wanna know

The internet is lovely and free (unless you're someone like me who wants to pay extra to unblock restricted ports....but you're probably nothing like me at all )

 

Would I be able to use MSN messenger or is that restricted?

How would I set up the internet? Would I just plug my modem into the wall and off I go or do I need install or set something up?

 

the internett is free, included in the rent, and theres no restriction.. im using msn when im on

There are some restrictions, on things like VoIP, but the majority of people won't be affected by them! MSN certainly works!

You don't need a modem! You plug your computer into the wall, using a LAN port on your computer, and off you go! No install, nothing!

 

u need a cable to connect to the modem with, or an wireless card in the computer

I hear there's a gym, but it's a deathtrap, is this true?

I have used the gym one time, i just like to run so i used the running machine, guess u know what i mean, hehe. But theres also som sycling machins, steps and some weights..... but its not the best gym ive seen, but for me it does what it need to do. it all comes down to what u wanna do when u are training, because this one is small and dosnt have to much to do
