HELLO everyone, ive been reading this for a while, so i thought id log on.

ive also been invited on 21st march up to london for the interview/presentation, been reading this site over and over for the past 2 hours actually, lol....... i really excited and i hope i get through.

im abit worried tho, lol, im fun and stuff, but im not really much of a party person, i know dat sounds really strange, esspecially coming from essex and all. But i dont really drink, i still like to go and watch other people get shitfaced and and chat, but i dont really party/drink.

Im still going for it 100%, but i just feel bit wierd as im not a party person, will i still fit in really???

thats the only thing playing on my mind, but hey.........

    ;D ;D ;D ;D

I dunno how it works over at the Commons, but I never had a huge problem not being a party person at Vista Way...

You'll find a few people who think like you and be fine, I'm sure. Though, as long as you're up for a laugh, people probably wont think twice about being the best of friends with you! :D

    Best of luck!

    Hey Stuart!

Yeah I kind of had the same worries when I started reading these boards too. I don't mind going out a couple times a week and having a merry but getting drunk every night and going to work in the Florida heat with a hangover isn't really my idea of fun.

There's always going to be people who aren't really up for going out all the time and with so much to do in Florida I doubt you'll be short of stuff to do.

If you're on MSN add me, I'm going to the interviews on March 21st too. :)

im planning on not drinking in the states.im not a huge drinker.i like to go out buti reckon there will be more todo than just go and get drunk every day.i think u will find a tonne of people to hang with whon dont want to get drunk every day and who want to just have fun. you just develop a balance with it all.

Yeah I got so drunk at my friends 21st that I fell out the (minibus) taxi and landed in my neighbours garden. REALLY hurt my left leg, so much that it still hurts when I kneel down. And that was in August...

Ever since then when I feel myself getting a bit too drunk I try and hold back....for the sake of the rest of me! :D

I feel pretty much the same - I like to go out and have a good time, but no more than a couple of times a week and I don't drink at all. Plus if I do make it to Florida, I'll be underage so there's no way I'm going to risk getting termed by drinking.

I wasn't a huge partier (prob due to the long hours i was working), still not and I had my friends and we did other stuff instead. I could never imagine going to work having only had 3-5hrs sleep i would cry.
i knew quite a few ppl who got termed for underage drinking while i was there, i was underage that time too and to be honest i didnt feel a huge need to drink.

At the end of the day there are a huge number of people there and not all of them will want to go out. It will be fine, honestly. I had a totally awesome time without ever having a drink and going out constantly.

    A xx

i like going out and having a drink but to be honest i couldnt do it more than 2 nights a week - i never used to get hangovers but as soon as i hit 18 they started (typical!!) i cant even have 3 or 4 vodkas and im dying the next day - i mean full on headache, being sick, shakes etc etc etc,its horrible!!!! Il go out as much as possible but i would only go out drinking if i wasnt working the following day - or at least not in the morning anyway,id be sent home if i went in with one of my hangovers!!!

LOL. Sainsburys have told me to stop working Sunday because of the amount of times they have to send me home from a hangover.

I wouldn't do it at Disney though, It's very difficult to be nice and happy when I'm hungover at work.

I'm ok when I don't mix my drinks.
