    Hi, Im Shauna *waves*
I heard about this program through a really good friend of mine, Melissa? I don't know her username but she did this a few years ago!
I am going to apply come my 18th birthday this January, But I have a few questions maybe some of you guys wouldn't mind answering before I do??
Does the distance from friends and fam make it hard? I mean , you aren't just like alone out there are you?? Im sure the people are great but for the first while I mean..
And is transportation an issue? I don't drive so will that lessen my chances at all or make things inconvienient??
Also, I am diabetic. Do you figure it will be a compatible thing ? Can I do it with a medical condition or will the company overlook me due to it?

Thanks guys, Im really excited and I hope I get the chance to rep Canada!!
    Merry christmas

Heeey. believe what your friend tells you, disney is a great experience. At the begining you may have some homesick and u may miss u family but then u will find great people out there, usually your arrival groups (people that arrives same day as you) are your friends, they will be in the exact possition as you, they will miss home and have the same problems as you. But then when you start working you will make great friends with the other persons of the pavillion.
About the transportation dont worry there are buses from the apartments to the work location, wall mart & PI (clubs, movies rest. etc) and u can take cabs to go other places.
Finally i dont think your medicall condition is going to be a problem, because i understand u have it under control right? anyhow you can ask that to the disneys guys in the interview.
    Hope it helps
