I applied for the Disney international program on August the 15th and yummy jobs said the applications had closed and said they would get in contact in January? Why was this, everyone on here seemed to have a phone interview? I'm only 17 but I'm turning 18 in February, could this have been a factor!? Any advice is welcome guys! Thank you!

well i was 17 in my interview in march then i was 18 in may and im flying out in december and other people were even younger in the interview so this is not the case for me.
It wont be because of your age i think all it was, was you applied just a little late most of us applied May June July time and they held the phone interviews in early July, August, to then get ready for the f2f's in September, give it a few months and try re-applying there will definitely be more spaces soon, hope that helps.. yeah i understand u have to be 18 to start but she will be in feb when the program starts so they can give her a later start date, one of the girls whos going with me wasnt 18 till last month and we could of gone from july, i think u may have to be 18 to get the visa to but u get that 2 weeks or so before u go
Well I was also at the interviews back in March along with Lora (WooHoo March 21st Hammersmith team). Though I never got through, the e-mail told me I could reapply in August, which I did and had my phone interview last week and now have a F2F in November. I think you may have just missed the application deadline by a couple of days. The yummyjob people are super nice I'm sure if you e-mailed or called them they'd be happy to help answer your question.
