Help with Photograph for Visa application....?

Can anyone help, or suggest where they got there photos done for the Visa application?

The requirements are so specific, and im pretty sure a normal passport photo from a booth isnt acceptable.....i think ???

Been looking on the US Embassy site, and starting to panic a bit now :-\ any help would be greatly appreciated!

not that i've had to get a visa but I think there is a chemist/ pharmacy near the embassy or have a look at this page will prob give you the answer http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/acs/passports/photographers.html

 

yep you can pop in to the pharmacy and just ask them for non immigrant US visa photos,i got them done here,they will do you physical pics that you can take away and you can also get a digital one done aswell that you can use to upload your pic via the website when filling in the visa forms.

the pharmacy is just along oxford street,passed selfridges walking in the direction of marble arch,take a left up audley street and they are on the right hand side about 3/4 of the way along the street.

 

If you don't want to wait till the day of your interview to get them, just go round the photo shops in your town (Jessops, Jacobs, Snappy Snaps etc) and see if they do em. I got mine done at one of the bigger chemist's near mine. Was a pain in the arse, I'm not gonna lie lol. Some people get away with the usual UK passport photos, but I didn't want to risk being turned away for it lol.

 

Hey, thanks for your advice. I think i might just get the photos done in London when i go down to get my Visa, because i only live in a small town in Staffordshire and i dont want to risk getting it done anywhere round here lol.

Jackson2411 - when getting the pictures done at Gould Pharmacy are they available to take away there and then? Or does it take a while for them to get developed?

you take them away there and then i was in and out with my photos in less than 10 minutes,a UK passport photo WONT work,the US visa photo has to be a certain size and shape and is totally different to the dimensions of a UK passport photo.
