Help Please!!

I need people to keep their fingers crossed that my exams finish before June 2nd, or I don't think I can go :-( And that would make me sad.

Or I suppose I could skive off the last week of the dig and go on the 21st.

I really really really want to go!!!

When looking in my course info books it said exams happen during week of 25th may, but just looked on the uni website and it has last week 1st june (which might not let me have a visa starting the 2nd).
I need to speak to my course organiser and get some exact dates off of her I think.

 

Do you think they'll know the exam dates already? I might go and ask. I've been told they could go on until the 5th June.

 

We the uni probably couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery, so they probably havent organised the exam dates yet. But maybe if I make the situation clear, they organise them around me? Haha I wish it could all be that simple.

Ooooh I hope you get to go! I know at my uni you could ask for the exam dates and they would give them to you if you desperately needed to know. I know I did once (can't remember what for) and they were really on top with it all.

 

I'm at Durham, and don't remember when they usually release the exam dates, I think its about late Jan/Feb,but can't really remember. You could try asking now, but they're unlikely to tell you. Dates would be provisional at the moment, so if they gave them to you, they could change and you then have a reason to complain, which they wouldn't want. So I'd recon they'd tell you to wait till their official exam timetable release date. I tried asking last year and they told me to wait, but you could always try - they're not going to knock marks off you for asking. Good luck, and I hope you (and me) find out the dates soon.

 

Come into uni today just to sort out these forms.
Went to my tutor who was very helpfull, put passed me onto the person in charge of my course, after waiting outside her office for an hour, she said come back at 4pm, and from what I told her she wasnt sure if she could sign it and sort the letter out. Grr, and she didnt look particually amused when I mentioned WDW.
However my tutor did sahe that she could and would sort it out tomorrow if i find her (she seemed the like the idea of going there).
Why can things never be so simple.

Thats a shame, really depends on the luck of the draw. By chance the person I asked to sign my letters was really into Disney, visiting WDW every year. We had a chat about it, and found I'd be arriving the day before she'd return home, so no chance of meeting while I was a CM.

 

I had to get two different people to do the forms but my lecture signed one of them today and said how shes going over in the summer for a holiday with her son so bayles and i (if we get in) may see her! how funny!

 

shame about your uni! my university are in links with WDW for other courses..mentions it on the website on disney. so they were really happy to sign it and were asking my all sorts of questions about it.

thats so cool ginabelle that you may see them! i dont think anyone is coming out while im working unless my boyfriend overlaps his visit.

 

It was a bit of a pain getting my stuff signed, but I got there in the end thankfully.

 

My academic advisor did everything for me and shes very understanding and excited for me to do the program. its great!

 

the woman who had to do the letterheaded one was a pain! good god it took ages! a simple procedure and she dragged it out! all sorted now! just bought a folder for it all in WHSmiths, the walt disney mickey mouse ones...it was on sale .

now just other bits of paper work to do.

aww freckles your lucky thats yours is coming over at least once! mine cant...1.no money, 2.no time and 3. hes not a big fan of disney which is just pantaloonie

 

The only people that will see me if i get accepted is my aunt and uncle and cousins.

my boyfriend loves disney and we have been aplnning the trip since we last went. this has happened to coincide with it. so i will stay for the holiday and he will either come out before i finish or on the day.

 

i = jealous!! if i talk to stu about disney enough he may end up liking it!!

what did you wear to the interview freckles?! I have to go buy something tomorrow because my suit trousers, i use for work (im a waitress) so theyre now all skanky

 

well - I wore a suit jacket, some trousers and heels. I was about the ONLY person in grey! (Most were in black!)
And I had to get someone from registry to sign my form, and then request the letter online from the registry, which could take up to 7 working days! But it arrived on time, so all is good!

And as far as I know no-one will visit me
