    Hey Brooke!
Welcome to the nuthouse! Hehe- just kidding, we're not that bad! Anyway, for my covering letter I just wrote why I wanted the job (why wouldn't you! ;)) and what skills I had that would (hopefully! ;)) make me a good cast member- friendly, wanted to represent my country, wanted to work with people, enthuastic about learning about different cultures/languages etc etc! Don't think mine was that long really!
Probably have mine somewhere if you'd like me to mail it to for you to have a read!
    Best of luck! ;D

i second what charlotte says and welcome to the nut house!! ;D include what charlotte has said and just make sure u are honest, you don't want to make it to long as it may get boring lol and don't forget yummy have 100's of these to read so keep it short to the point and sell yourself

    Good luck

    hey

im also new to this and from the uk... just wanted to say hi to everyone and to ask a question...

slightly confused as to whether i can apply for the international program yet or not because im not 18 until may 2006 but my gap year will start from july 2006 (after my a-levels) until september 2007... is it possible that i can get on the program in time for my gap year or will i hav to wait till after uni?

Hi I think you're going to have to wait til after uni (sorry :() you have to be 18 to attend the interview- and they are only feb time and nov in the UK. So you'd have to attend the nov ones in 2006 and that probably wouldn't get you out there til march 2007- which is a bit useless for you unless you take 2 gap years.
Sorry it probably isn't what you want to hear, but I do think there are benefits to waiting (I have!)- although its hard. :-\
    Good luck anyway! :D

i no its heard to hear that you will have to wait til after uni, but in the long run as charlotte said the benefits will be greater. i didn't get through the interviews so i am unable to do my gap year out in florida so now have to wait til 2008 to reapply.

so in the meantime i will be taking my gap year as planned and spending it in canada and america then gonna do the college programme while at uni then after uni its disney all the way

at least after uni your'll be 21 and able to drink so one less thing to worry about and you will have more time to travel after as you will not have to worry about getting home

    anyway hope it helpped

thanks for the help guys. im rly bad at waiting tho! i don't want to have to wait that long its way too hard! but the only way i could do it would be with 2 gap years like charlotte said but the time between waiting to go and then when i got back waiting for uni would be completely wasted i'd have nothing to do. i really want to go as soon as! :-\ im not sure i might consider the 2 gap years... im tht desperate!

i no what you mean dreamer i have thought about thaking 2 gap years as well so i can do the programme but have come to the conclusion that although i wanna do disney soooooooooooooooooooooo bad i don't wanna waste alot of time waiting for it to come and risk the chance of going to uni as i already have my 6 offers.

so the way i feel if a wait til after i will appreciate it so much more and not have to worry about getting back into educational mode after.
