I fly out this Sunday and Disney arent being that helpful as far as the flight is concerned, Anyone else have this problem? and if u did what was the solulution?
Woo hoo yay! I take it your on the J1 academic prog then, since you're flying out on Sunday? Me too. There are a few of us here heading out then. Have you got your visa etc. all sorted? If so, let Int. Arrivals (the number on the info. pack) know and they will book a flight for you. You do have the option to book your own. That's what I did, since I'm in Glasgow and didn't fancy 70 change-overs. I'm going direct now yay! I'm guessing you've already done all this and are having trouble getting any kind of concrete details from Disney? ??? Give then a day or so before panic sets in. Either that or pester the life out of them. ;D See you on Sunday! (Oooo I'll be at Vista for about 3pm) Ona x
I'm going out on sunday as well!!!! Yummy Jobs gave us the option of booking our flights ourself, or letting disney do it. If you want to book your own you have to do it through STA in Warwickshire, i think its James and Claire that you need to speak to. Or if you want disney to do it you need to either email them or phone them to let you know you've got your visa so they can book your flights. Me and my friends have booked our own flights through STA. We did it a week ago and cost 290 quid. But the cost might have gone up now! Good Luck, and I hope you finally get it sorted!
Katie, I didn't book through STA but I think Yummy recommend them because they have fabby deals (esp. if you're a student or under 26 ). Where are you flying from? What time do you guys get to Orlando? My visa arrived this morning yay! Sooooooooooooooooo exited now! ;D Eeeeeeeek! So much time... so little to do....stop... wait...... reverse that! ;D Ona x
just out of curiosity...what if you are over 26 (as in say just 26) am i gonna be right royally *ahemed* cost wise?
I'm flying with Globespan direct (yay! ;D) from Glasgow to (eeeek! ) the scuzz hell that is Sanford. : It only cost £140 inc. tax. With absolutely no age restrictions. Lol. ;D And I've hired a car for a week to get me to Vista or where ever (they dont' seem to want to tell me where to go... mmm... lol ). And thanks to the fact that I'm 25, that only cost £100 for the week inc. insurance. Not bad for less than £250. Ona x
And now I see why you're going to be driving from the airport I feel like I've drastically overpaid for my flight
It all becomes clear. ;D Andy isn't your flight a return though? Who did you book with? Oooo and how'd it go yesterday? I was in there for 3 and a half hours last week; not too bad I guess. And I just got my passport back yesterday. Ona x
Ahh...one way...that makes me feel slightly better...hehe. I booked direct with Virgin: STA had got no student fares available for the dates I booked. Yesterday was a drag...three and a half hours again. I really should have gone back to Belfast: I wouldn't have minded the 3 and a half hours if I hadn't done it so quickly at Belfast before. I'll be happy once I have my passport
I'm flying from Gatwick, on the 11.05 BA flight. It's direct, and supposed to be arriving at 3.20. I've got pretty much everything sorted now apart from my packing. Really don't know what stuff to take. So excited tho!!!
Finally got my flight sorted! Got a transfer in New York which is fab, Arrive in Orlando at around half 5 in the afternoon so see you then!
Cool so we should all be there by just after tea time. Awesome! ;D Sooooo excited! Wooo hoo! ;D Ona x
