HI Guys, First off, im Fraser, 18 (just left school, and waiting for exam results)from Scotland (their is a lot of scottish on here!!) I really want to work over at disney but im unsure of the scheme that would suit me, can anyone help? Ive also applied to Wet N Wild and Universal. (wet n wild said they would contact me and they havnt! so im constantly emailing them) Anyway i want to stay in florida for a little while next year while i prepare for University. I have already sent my application to Yummy Jobs but got a reply about 2 weeks later saying unfortunatley i wasnt lucky enough. Now Ive seen guys and girls who are 17/18/19 getting interviews and gettings jobs so i know age isnt a problem but do you have to be in university for a year before you apply? Im starting next Year and im already approved (as they didnt have enough spaces this year) I think thats what made them reject my application Anyone been in a similar situation to me? anyone got msn and are willing to chat and help me out? My msn addy is fraserlittle@gmail.com so feel free to add me, or i might add you! cheers
Hello. You could apply for the 1 year cultural representative programme. You don't have to be in uni for that. You should ask yummy jobs why you were unsuccessful and how soon you can apply again. If you show them you are really keen for the job then they will be more likely to interview you. You could do ICP. In this programme you go to DIsney during your Uni summer holidays. So obviously you can't do that now but you can once youve started uni. Email yummy again and ask them what your options are. They are really helpful
if your going to uni next septemeber its's too late to apply for the year long program as they've jsut finished phone interviews for the sept face to face interviews... that are for the year long program starting in feb 08....hope this makes sense and helps....
